The Wizard Tower is a splash damage defense just like the mortar, but unlike the mortar, it doesn't have a weak spot. The wizard tower is very good for protecting the weak spots of mortars, and protecting gold storages or Town Halls. The wizard tower does not do as much damage as the mortar shot-for-shot, but it does do more damage each second since it attacks quicker. I reccomend placing these protecting your mortars, storages or Town Hall.
