Chapter 15 - New Friends

- 2,000 years later -

- Normal POV -

- Forbidden Glyph Caverns -

  "How do you know this story so well, Elder?" asked one of the children.

  "Because I was the Head Healer's apprentice at the time," said the Elder, "Now its about time to attend their Grand Gala considering your now old enough to attend one."

  "I hope I get to meet Star Fate," said one of the children.

  "I would like to meet Demos," said another.

  "I want to meet Cold Space," said another.

  "Same, but I want to meet Panther," said another.

  "I would like to meet Luminaosis," said Phoenix.

  "I'm sure you all will," said the Elder as she got up and motioned for the children to follow her out of the Caverns.

- Later that day at the Grand Gala -

- Phoenix POV -

- Garden -

  I went outside because it was too crowded in the ballroom only to find myself in the garden. I kept walking and admiring the beautiful flowers and animals that lived there. I then saw a lake with a big oak nearby. I walked towards it and saw someone leaning against the tree. He had silver hair wrapped in rings and was wearing a silver and black princely attire and a long silver cape with black moons and stars on it.

  "Hello?" I said to him earning his attention.

  "Oh. Hello there little one," he said greeting me with a smile and kneeled down to my level.

  "My names Phoenix. What's yours?" I asked him.

  "My names Luminaosis, God of the Night, but call me Lumos," he answered. I was amazed that I was meeting one of the gods I wanted to meet.

  "I've heard one of your stories when the Elder took me and some others to the Forbidden Glyph Caverns," I said to him as we both sat down on the ground.

  "Which one did she tell you?" he asked.

  "The one where you become a bad guy and your brothers helped you become good again," I answered.

  "Oh, that one. That was a dark time for me," he said saddened, "Without my brothers I would've been lost along with Kissteria."

  "But now that times over. Your no longer that person," I said hoping to cheer him up.

  "Your right. Things certainly have changed since then. I almost forgot to ask but why are you out here?" he asked with a smile.

  "It was getting crowded in the ballroom, so I went for a walk and some how got here," I answered, "Which I'm guessing is why your out here too."

  "Yep," he said.

  "Oh, I almost forgot, how did you guys get the Black Diamond and the Talismans back?" I asked.

  "After the battle my brothers found the vault I had their Talismans and the Black Diamond in and found mine on me. And once we got home and had the Head Healer look over me, they put them back in the Sacred Room and had that place rebuilt. But nowadays whenever we have the Grand Gala, we keep them with us," he answered pointing towards his, which was where the button for his cape would be.

  "Wow," I said looking at it. Before anything else could be said five figures appeared behind us. We turned to look at them and saw that it was the Elder and Lumos's brothers.

  "So, this is where you went Lumos?" asked Cold Space as we stood up.

  "Who's the girl?" asked Panther.

  "This is Phoenix. Phoenix, these are my brothers Star Fate, Demos, Cold Space, and Panther," he said.

  "Nice tp meet you," I said as I bowed to them.

  "Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but we need Lumos back inside," said Star Fate.

  "An your parents are looking for you Phoenix," added the Elder, "And it's good to see you again Lumos."

  "It was nice seeing you again as well," he said and started walking away with his brothers.

  "Hey Lumos. Can I come back again to visit you guys?" I asked them before they got to far. He then stopped and turned around to face me.

  "Sure anytime," he said waving goodbye to me before going back inside with his brothers.

  'Although your past was dark you had people around you to give you a brighter future,' I thought before walking off with the Elder.
