Swazzy's POVFinally gym class was over. You would think it'd be fun but the first day of gym is nnpever fun. The instructor told us what we were gonna be doing all year around and stuff the government wants us to do and all that type of stuff. I had this feeling though, like something was about to happen but I don't know what. It was a mix of good and bad at the same time, and made me ponderous for the whole class. Finally the ball rang, signalling it was the end of the day. My locker was nearly right next to the gym so it didn't take long for me to change back into my regular clothes and quickly gather my stuff. I didn't see any signs of Jake and all them, nor Sky either, or the football players to be exact. I brushed it off and started down the halls to get home. I had a bunch of furs greet me and talk to me out the door, and finally I departed and was on the journey to my house.
A few minutes later I got home, and took off my shoes and walked across the room. I saw a note on the fridge, and got curious and walked over and read it, it stated...
Swazzy, your Grandma was in a severe accident and was sent to the hospital. Your Grandpa had a heart attack as well an hour later. We went to go see them in the next state and won't be back for a week or two, so I gave you $300 for food. Don't be stupid and waste it all, whatever you have left you can keep, it doesn't matter to me. Your Father, Uncle, and I are going to check in every few days as well. So stay out of trouble!
~Mom
I felt kind of sad, getting teary eyed but quickly wiping it away. I loved my grandparents, and hated to see that happen. I went up to my room and saw the money, which I put into my wallet. I quickly took out my phone and saw texts from Sky, saying that he still really like the move I did to the kid at school. I smiled warmly and replied thanking him, and tried to make it appealing.
I later decided to go to the park, since I had nothing else to do and thought I should just watch some games, and maybe play a bit. I wasn't in the mood to play but I thought I could watch. I didn't bother putting on shoes so I simply put on slides and headed out down the road.
I finally got there, there wasn't too many people there, but it was all nobody I knew. I got a ball from the sidelines and shot around at the other end of the court while the others played 3v3, I didn't want to interrupt their game. I only had slides on afterall, I'm not trying to run a game in these! I stopped after they finished and sat down and drank some water I packed with me just in case. I pulled up my socks a bit and quickly got bored of what was happening, so I decided to maybe just go about and explore. So I got up and left after only ten minutes, and started off down the road. I walked through a business area where a bunch of fast food restraunts we're, seeing Sky again on the other sidewalk a few ways down...
