Smudged Mirror (Finished)

Chapter 3:

Katie starts backing away from the bathroom and she closes her door. Her heart is beating so hard you can see its outline. Kate thought she was just imagining things when she heard the voice again but the voice was now very close to her.

"I need help..." said the voice.

Kate grabbed a hammer and yelled out,

"What the hell could you possibly want from me?" Kate walks near her door and opens it just to see nobody. She slowly walks into the bathroom and the mirror is broken up into pieces.

"What in the-" she got cut off.

"Maria are you feeling better?" asks Jordan. She gets up from the chair and looks at Maria for a response when she forgets that she's in a coma.

You a jerk! I Know.

"Hello, Kate what's wrong?"

"That thing that hurt Maria. It's desperate for help! I've been trying to find her but she wouldn't come out. I don't know what's wrong."

"So, what's going on now, Kate?"

"Look, I really don't know I've been investigating and then out of no where the mirror broke into pieces and went into my room." Kate stopped talking and Jordan was now listening to the thing talk again.

"You need to help. Or daughter get killed," says the creature.

"Hell with that shit you need to get out of there. She hurt Maria. And it might becoming after- never mind. But where's Liam?"

"Actually, where the hell is Liam?" Look, I'll call you right back after I call him, okay?"

"Alright bye."

Kate looks into her contacts and finds Liam's number.

"Hello," announced Liam.

"Hi, where are you? Maria's in the hospital."

"What?! What happened?"

"I was coming home from work when Jordan called me saying that Maria was in the hospital. I went there and Maria told me that there were hand smudges on the mirror and something scratched her and said,'help me I'm desperate'."

"Woah, well babe I'm really sorry but I'm working on a case right now so I can't come home and I won't be home until- wait what is that noise?"

"Baby... NOOOO!!! BABY HELP!"

"What's going on?!" Liam screams.

"STOPP!!!!" Then, silence.

"Bae, what's wrong?" says Liam sturnly.

"I got your wife now hehehehe...." says the creature with a very angry voice. "She wouldn't help me. You're next," she says.

"BABY I LOVE YOU!!!" yells Liam from the top of his lungs.

"I... love you too," replies the creature then hangs up the phone.
