Gone

(Levi's POV)

I drove up to the school and parked, waiting for Eren... where is he?? He's usually here by the time I come. Suddenly, I heard a loud bang. Shock reverberated throughout my body. I turned back to where the shock came from, when I saw a group of men pulling an unconscious boy into a car. Panicked, I began to head over there. But I couldn't get there in time. I sprinted after the van, but it suddenly sped into reverse, and the bumper smashed me against a shack. The breath was knocked out of me as I fell to the ground, clutching my injury. I groaned, falling to my side as a group of people, who'd heard the commotion came to observe.

               I grimaced as the nurse, and also one of my best friends, Hanji began to inspect the bruises and cuts I had. I had to tell her... I think a student has been kidnapped. I struggled to get the words out of my mouth. I finally stammered out "D-did you see.." "Yes. I saw everything from the window. I'm sorry I wasn't able to get here before he was kidnapped." She replied. "What are we gonna tell his family?" I wheezed. "I don't know, but I think you should do it" "Me? Why me?" I panicked. "You know them better" "I don't even know the kid who got kidnapped... how am I supposed to know his family?!" I yelled, causing her to flinch. "You didn't see who it was?" She whispered. "No" I scoffed. She placed a hand on my shoulder, sympathetically. "Oh my god! I have to get back! Eren must be waiting there all alone!!!" I exclaimed, turning back. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Eren wont be there" I gave her a look. "Why?" "Uh... H-he went t-to a summer camp?" She questioned. I raised my eyebrows. "It's the middle of the school year." "A summer camp that happens during school... he'll be back in a few days!" She exclaimed. I didn't believe a word she said. "Why would he go anywhere... no, how could he go anywhere without telling me?" I mumbled. "He didn't know he was going... it was sort of a last minute thing."

               She frantically began to start spewing nonsense, and I walked away. Eren? On a trip? Without telling me? I have so many questions. Where did he go? Did he even pack? Will he be okay? When will he be back? I miss him already. I trudged back to the car and sat in my seat, sighing as I saw the passenger seat empty. I wish Eren was here. I slammed the door shut, and drove away. I grunted as the car came to a stop. My keys jangled as I fumbled with them, eventually opening the door. I shrugged off my jacket, and tossed it across the room.

               I placed my sunglasses on the table, and ran a hand through my tousled hair. I went upstairs, and plopped onto the bed. I don't know why I was so worried about him. But I was. I let out a sob. Why am I crying?? He's just on a trip. But I can't help but feel like he's not coming back. I snapped out of the trance, and frantically wiped at my eyes as the doorbell rang. I opened the door, and felt something jump onto me. I raided my fists to fight back, but then the grip softened. It let out a sob, and I realized who it was. Hanji. Ugh. But the mood felt different. It felt more sorrowful. She smiled, and wiped her tears. "I can't keep hiding this from you..." she whispered. My lips turned down in a confused frown. "That kid that you saw get kidnapped... that was E-" "SEID IHR DAS ESSEN UND WIR SING DIE JAGER" we both jumped. "Hang on a sec" I held up a finger and pulled my phone out of my pocket. I picked up. "Hello?" I said. "Hello, is this Levi Ackerman?" Said a deep voice. "Yep" I said, popping the "p". "We need you for an inquiry at the police station" "am I in trouble?" I began to panic. "That all depends on how you react to the situation. We need you here ASAP." I tucked the phone back into my pocket and grabbed my jacket, sunglasses, and keys. "Sorry, we'll talk about this later!" I yelled to Hanji. Her lips turned down, and her eyebrows creased. She waved back to me, as I shut the door. I decided to walk to get my mind off of the whole issue with Eren, and whatever the hell Hanji needed to say. I noticed a couple laughing together, and my heart became heavy again.

(Third Person POV)

Levi jogged up the steps to the police station, and pushed open the door. A cool blast of air hit himL, and he was immediately stopped by an officer who led him to an office. He entered, only to be greeted by man with a moustache who appeared to be... sniffing him? He gestured for him to sit down, and as he did, the officer spoke. "My name is Officer Zacharius. Do you recall the kidnapping that happened near Rose High School?" "Yes" He answered. "Are you aware of who was kidnapped?" "No sir" he said, furrowing his eyebrows. "And are you aware of the dead body of one of the students in a nearby shack, named Reiner Braun?" His heart lurched. A dead body? "No sir" his voice began to tremble. "Well, lets get straight to the point. The kid who was kidnapped was Ere-" "Officer we have some new evidence of the Rose High School case!" A deputy barged in. (I'm so sorry 😂)Office Zacharius grunted. "I'm in the middle of discussing the situation with a witness. Please come back later!" he barked. The deputy shrunk into himself and squeaked out a "yessir" before shutting the door. "Now, as I was saying, the student who was kidnapped left a trail of blood until where he was put into a van and taken away. We also found evidence that he was possibly raped by Reiner Braun. We took the blood to the forensics lab and had it tested... and when we did, well... it was your boyfriend, Eren Jaeger. I'm sorry for your loss."

"What?"

Oooooohhhhhh he knows now... I'm sorry for dragging his out, but it was really fun to write! I won't be able to write much because I have exams coming up, and yea... thank you to everyone who is reading this, and giving me a chance at being known.
