Kayla
"You wanna explain to me why I'm helping you chase YOUR sister's dog?!" I shouted loudly over the constant barking
"Because this is your dorm too and you actually love me?" Alyssa hoped as she shied away from my angered demeanor.
"Not good enough." I said while stomping towards the hallway closet
As soon as I got close to it, the barking seemed to get louder meaning that the dog was in the closet or in one of our rooms. Alyssa was maybe two or three steps behind me but I pulled her to the front so that she could be the one to put it on it's a leash.
"Why am I the one who has to put it on the leash? Why can't you do it?" Alyssa asked frantically
"One, not my sister. Two, not my SISTER'S DOG!" I shouted as I walked into my bedroom
I put my bookbag on the bed and opened it to pull out my notebook, textbook, and laptop so that I could finally start on this homework because I know that if I don't do it now, I just won't fucking do it. Plus, homework has been helping me keep my mind off of Drew since she's starting to live in it. I've been talking to her more lately because she is being really persistent with the "I wanna get back together and I'm changing my ways." bullshit because it really is bullshit. I don't wanna fall for it but according to both Maria and Alyssa, she's opened me up to try new things and to have fun. I don't see it but apparently they do, so imma let them think that.
"Okay but she seems to be gravitating towards you more than me! And I'm her fucking auntie!" Alyssa complained as she snatch the leash out my hand.
"Snatch this damn thing out my hand one more time and Imma slap the shit outta you." I said as I snatched it from her
Alyssa sighed and grabbed the leash out my hand before walking towards her bedroom. She was hesitating to open the door but once she did, she straighten up when she noticed that the dog wasn't in the room. Alyssa slowly turned towards me and let out a nervous smile and laughter before pointing to my bedroom.
"I think it's in your room." Alyssa said while rubbing the back of her neck
"No shit Sherlock."I said as I snatch the leash from her and opened the door to my bedroom
The puppy was sitting on my bed and right next to my little throw pillow. I whistled and patted both of my knees.
"Come here doggy, come here!" I shouted playfully as the dog looked up at me with it's tongue out
As soon as the dog ran into my arms, I connected the leash to her collar and walked us both to the living room. Just when I was about to put the dog on the ground, there was a knock on the door, and Alyssa answered it. There stood her older sister Marissa, with a smile on her face once she caught a glimpse at her dog. Marissa was a lot older than Alyssa, maybe late 20s or early 30s and she worked for a tech company. She wasn't married, and she was openly lesbian like her little sister.
"Well hello there, Alyssa and Kayla. Was Tatianna bad?" Marissa asked as she walked over to where I was standing
Marissa grabbed Tatianna out my grasp and gave me a smile before standing next to me and turning her attention to the dorm and her younger sibling. As she scanned the room, the smile on her face went down and it was replaced with an apologetic expression.
"Why didn't you tell me that you and Kayla had classes this morning? I wouldn't have sent her here if I would have known that you two wouldn't be watching her for me." Marissa questioned as she caught on to why our dorm looks this way
"Because you didn't give me time to respond before you knocked on my door and gave me your fucking dog!" Alyssa shouted
"Who the fuck you yelling at?! And I texted you last night, asking you if you could possibly watch Tatianna and you said yes!" Marissa shouted back
As the two of them continued to yell at each other about why Alyssa agreed to babysit, I started up on cleaning the dorm back up. Tatianna was on a leash so I didn't have to worry about her attempting to help me and I wanted to finish it now before I got started on some studying.
"You know you two can argue while helping me clean up right? At the end of the day, it's your dog." I stated as I pointed to Marissa, "And it's your mistake and OUR dorm room." I stated as I pointed to Alyssa.
They both looked at each other, sighed, and started to help me with straightening up the dorm room. Alyssa cleaned the kitchen because she spends the most time in there, Marissa helped me finish up the living room because I was half way done.
"I'm sorry about Tatianna ruining you guys'd dorm room." Marissa said as she looked over in my direction
"It's cool. It's not entirely your fault, Alyssa doesn't think half the time she makes decisions." I smirked
"Damn, just talk shit about me while I'm in the kitchen." Alyssa said from in the kitchen
I laughed and continued to sweep up some of the dirt that fell out of my plant while Tatianna destroyed our dorm. Like, she really did a number on the place, and she don't give a fuck about it!
"I forgot you have braces, they make you look cuter then you already are." Marissa said as she made me blush oh so smoothly
"Oh for fucks sake!" Alyssa said as she walked over to us
"Is that your way of complimenting my smile?" I asked
"Kinda, is that your way of saying thank you?" Marissa asked
"Not bad but really, thank you." I said
"Well, I would like to make up for my puppy's disaster by taking you both to dinner tonight. It's getting late and I wouldn't wish Alyssa cooking on anyone." Marissa said as she gave me a hopeful smile
"Not only are you dissing me in front of my roommate but you are also hitting on my roommate in front of me!" Alyssa yelled as she sat down on the couch
"What's with all the yelling? It's just dinner because you're a horrible cook and I wanna make up for Tatianna ruining the dorm." Marissa said
"Still! I don't want to think that in the possible near future, you might be fucking my roommate." Alyssa pointed out
"Can we just go out for dinner and call it a day?! It's not really that serious Alyssa, and if I wanna take a ride on the Marissa train then that's what I want." I said
"Oh, so you wanna piece of me?" Marissa asked as she smirks
My eyes widen and my cheeks got hot while I stared at her as she smiled at me. Alyssa rolled her eyes but got back up and started making her way towards the door. Marissa and I took the hint to follow her and soon enough, we made our way outside to Marissa's car. The tension in the car was extreme and I hope that we can have a nice dinner without them fighting.
