He was in trouble. This was where she was supposed to step-up and save the day just like in her fairy tales, but this wasn't a fairy tale and she was definitely NOT capable of that level of heroism. On the other hand this was her life long friend who was dying. She couldn't bear it if my big ol' Charlie boy just left her stranded in this no good, snow forsaken town with no friends and no stability at all! But then again hadn't she always looked down on the people who picked their love for a person or animal over what they might want. All she did know at this point was that nobody could help her with this, she was on her own.
