We had barely sat down at the Krikorian Theatres when their little song plays that signals to shut off the phones, the movie is starting. It had taken us a very long tim e to pick the movie, The Maze Runner, and to get popcorn and candy. We both got small popcorns and I had chosen between Redvines and, my now open, Skittles. Kay had gotten Starbursts. We had decided to get our two faves so we could swap and share from time to time. I jump. The Griever had just appeared in the window that Thomas and Newt had been looking through. After a little I settle back into my chair, only to jump again. They had just pushed Ben into the maze right before the door booms shut. I had read the book but this was one of my first PG-13 movies, my first in theatres, so it was a little bit of a new experience for me. Hopefully this movie would slow down a little bit before I gave myself a heart attack. I hope but I doubt it will. Like I said I read the book and if the movie followed the book even a little bit there were many more scares to come, including a short battle scene. Sure enough, when I was walking out into the dark night I moved a little closer to Kay and promised myself a hot cocoa and a pleseant fairy book to calm my nerves when we got to my second home.
