"You don't get it, do you?" Luke spoke to me.

"What is there to get? It's just a cafe. It's just like the one's we go to all the time." I said back to him, gesturing that this isn't that big of a deal.

"This isn't just a cafe. It's the cafe where we met. It's the cafe that we first spoke in. It's the cafe where, whether we knew it or not, or lives were about to be changed. And now, I'm not sure about you but, I know for a fact that my life was changed for the better. I swear sometimes I lay awake at night and just stare at the ceiling. And I just process everything that has happened between us. I wouldn't want to change it for the world. You saw something in me that my own family didn't see. You bring out the best in me, and I can't thank you enough." He held my eye contact the whole time. I sent him a smile to say how much this meant to me and it did.

"I wouldn't change what we have for any amount of money or bribe or any possible thing. Because you have made me so happy. And I, can't thank you enough for that." I didn't want him doubting himself. He has done that too much in the past and I refuse to let him slip away to that again.

"Mac, I am absolutely terrified about what I'm about to say right now but I need you to hear me out." I nod for him to continue.

"Every passing day that I have been able to call you mine, I fall harder and harder. Not necessarily references to the times I actually do fall, but I mean, uhm, I mean falling in love. With you. And this sudden burst of confidence in me scares me shitless, but I am happy and beyond proud and extremely grateful that, I love you. That's not some simple statement that we say everyday, no, this statement that I am saying to you now comes from every living cell in my body. I love you, Mac Rose Wilson. And I don't think I will be falling out of this anytime soon." Luke finished out of breath and my breath was surely taken away.

"You are incredible. Absolutely, breathtaking. You are now my source of happiness and don't feel the pressure because even if you just blink I smile like an idiot. You, my friend, are an angel sent for me. Whether you believe it or not. Don't doubt yourself any less than you do because I, have fallen in love with you. And I love you too, Luke Robert Hemmings."
