Do I look normal to you?
I was a fake,
A lie because I was broken inside,
So you watched me die.
You took me in with love,
And treated me right.
Until the day I grew strong,
You dropped me like a bomb.
Armed with depression,
Ready to state my confessions,
I fell from your hold,
To a world unknown.
They kissed me under the big blood moon,
Until my lips turned blue,
Turning me into a beautiful disaster.
I was thrown away,
Trashed and beaten,
Needing help to strengthen.
All you told were lies,
Lies I believed,
Being so naïve I trusted you,
Now I see that it was true.
Young and dumb,
Every word you said I held on to,
I should of listened to the people around you,
Because it's true.
Your lies are key to the real you.
