Its Too Late..

First day in a new place...~1~

I wake up in a new room full of posters and pictures. I get up and go to my closet and put on something cute and smile. "This outfit doesn't look too bad."

I grab my bag, kiss my mom goodbye and run out the door with Skylar and Cotton. Once we get to school I keep my head down to avoid eye contact because I am scared of what they would think of me; a gay boy walking into their school. As I get to my locker I put my bag inside and get my books and head to class. Still keeping my head down as I sit down at my desk and I start to draw. I hear someone yelling outside of the classroom and laughing so I go to see what it is. A group of kids were bullying two kids. Who seemed to be gay too!

I go up to them and look at them. "What do you think your doing?" I asked them.

One of the bully's looked down at me and decided to speak. "Showing these gay boys that this is our school and this school doesn't like gays." Him and his friends laughed.

"Oh shut up and leave them alone. I mean if you don't like gays then you can leave too its not like anyone wants you here anyways."

One if them looks at me and grabbed me by my neck and pushed me against the lockers. I wiggle and twist and turn to get away. He looked at me with an angry face and said "I don't care who you are, but be careful you dumb bunny, 'your too short someone might come and trample over you, be careful of what you say to us or we won't hesitate to break your skull." The fox then dropped me and walked away with his friends. I fall to the ground grasping for air.

The two boys stand up and come to me. "Hey are you ok?" The bear asked.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine..are you ok though?" I stand up and brush off my clothes.

"Yeah we are, my name is Jordan." The bear said politely.

"I'm Ash." The cat smiled cutely and wagged his tail.

~gosh he's adorable..wait what the hell am I saying...why would he like someone like me anyways?..~

"I-I'm Cameron." I smiled a bit and looked away.

"Are you ok?" Jordan asked. "You seem a bit down, what's on your mind?"

"It's..just nothing...I'm fine..let's just get to class." I said and started walking back.l with my head down.

"Yeah your right." Ash said and followed behind me and Jordan.

~what was I thinking?! Ugh I'm so stupid! He's not cute!...is he?..~

Questions kept on circling around in my head all day. At lunch time I let Jordan and Ash meet my sister Skylar and my twin brother Cotton.

~3 months later~
We were starting to get so close. We had a best friend group. Their names are Frost, Wolfie, Olympia, Sam, Nova, Tristan, Asher, Leon, Cotton, Jordan, Ash, Ashlyn, Otto, Levi, Lynn, Justin, James, Ashley, and Ryan. We always hung out together. Until one day something shocking happened at home..

"Hey Cam...uhh I really like Jordan..like I have a crush on him.." Cotton said as he blushed a bit and looked down.
"I'm sure if you ask him out he'll say yes.." I smiled at him so he felt a bit confident.
"Yeah but what about you?" He said with a concerned expression.
"What about me? You don't need me...go get em' tiger." I smiled and he smiled back.
"Thanks Cam...I love you, your the best!..." He jumped on the top bunk excitedly and got ready for bed. I went to bed and woke up at 12 PM and went to the kitchen to get some water when I heard my parents fighting. I peeked around the corner and I saw my dad hit my mom. I felt so much rage in me I didn't even care. I went in the kitchen and they both saw me.

"Go back upstairs Cameron!" My dad yelled at me.
"No" I said and went to get some water but he pushed me to the ground and punched me in my left eye. My ears went down.
"Don't ever talk back to me!" He screamed.
"Please calm down." My mom begged but he slapped her.
"Shut up hoe! Nobody asked you!" He screamed even more. Then he grabbed me by my neck and held me against the wall and I put my hands by my neck but on his hands and tried to make him let me go. Skylar and Cotton came down stairs.

Skylar rubbed her eyes. "What's all the noi---" She saw me and got mad. "Dad! Let him go! Your gonna kill him!" She yelled.
"Good he deserves to die!" Dad yelled back and threw me at the stairs. I struggled to get up. No matter how hard I tried my legs just wouldn't move. Then I started to feel the pain in my legs and started to cry. Cotton got me up and helped me up the stairs and to my bed. He helped me lay on my bed and hugged me.

"I-I think my l-l-legs are b-broken..." I said softly as tears rolled down my cheeks. "I-It hurts...p-please help me.."

"It's gonna be ok... I'm gonna call the ambulance just stay here." He grabbed his phone and left the room to talk to them. Meanwhile my dad came up stairs and I could hear Skylar saying it wasn't my fault and my mom was crying. He came into my room and picked me up and threw me at the window. I fell and winced in pain as the window shattered and I got stabbed by the glass. Then, i looked up at them and saw them talking. I saw Cali come in here and start screaming but I couldn't hear a word they said. Then everything went dark.

The police came and took our father to jail for child abuse. The ambulance came and Cotton, Skylar, and my mom came to the hospital with me. Cotton called Ash and Jordan on the way there and told them what happened and by the time we got there they were already there. They were all crying except for Skylar. She had a mad expression on her face and kept thinking about how dad did that. She wanted to kill him or just prove him wrong. But she knew that me and Cotton wouldn't want that.

Every day Ash would come to see me as I was in a coma. He came every day for 4 months, and finally one day I woke up and grabbed his hand.

"I missed you so much!" He said and hugged me tightly. I hugged back and smiled a bit.
"I missed you too." I smiled. Then he started to cry.
"Hey hey don't cry its ok.." I reassured him.
"I just...I thought I would never see you again." He looked down.
I smiled and kissed his cheek. "I'm ok now. Its over." I made him look at me and smiled.
"I love you so much Cam! Don't do that to me ever again shorty!" He said and hugged me.
I hugged him. "I love you too Ash." I smiled and wagged my tail a bit.

~The next day~
I left the hospital the next day and Ash took me home. My family was so glad I was back. To celebrate me and Cotton asked Frost, Olympia, Jordan, and Ash to stay the night. So they did. We spent the whole night in me and Cotton's room playing games, and making jokes. We even got pizza and pop and candy. Even Skylar, Frost, and Olympia.

"Lets go girls...we are gonna watch a movie and sleep!" Skylar said cutely and they raced to the room.
"Ash you can have my bed, since your the guest I'll sleep on the floor." I smiled at him as we walked to the room after the girls.
"I'm not letting you sleep on the floor." He refused.
"Well I'm not letting you sleep on the floor either." I pouted.
"Fine then lets sleep together" he smiled at me.
I blushed a bit. "F-Fine"
Cotton and Jordan decided to share the same bed as well.

That night I slept great.
