Wealthow Eyre, guildsmistress of Firnheild, received the following letter from The Covenant, the guild of The Most Noble House of Thor. The Priestess was shocked to read the message.

~The Most Noble House of Thor~

The Covenant

Lady Wealthow,

Greetings!

We at The Covenant in the land of Izlude send you our greetings and of news.

Two days ago, when some of our Knights went to pay respects to Nerva al'Thor, they came upon a most strange sight. Master Nerva's grave had been pillaged. The Silver Cross wrought for him was found fallen, and his bronze plaque was badly dented and destroyed. Someone we do not know also desecrated the ground, but we assure you that this someone has no respect for our hero.

Sir Theodoric Raleigh, your correspondent with the whole Knight nation, was there, and he can give you a full account on the matter.

We hope we can ask for Firnheilds cooperation in this matter, and bring the culprit(s) to light and face our justice.

Yours truly,

Richard Eric Lancaster

The Covenant Guildsman

Wealthow thought the news as a strange event. She knew that Geffens Sages and Wizards had the highest respect for the dead and surely they would do this horrible thing. She wanted a confirmation. She wrote to Theodoric:

Theodoric,

I want to know if it is true: was the grave of Nerva really pillaged by someone? I have just received a letter from one of his fathers most trusted guildsman, Sir Richard Eric Lancaster. Is it true? I shall decide if I should call off our break and summon Signy, Sibyl and Altair here in Prontera. This matter dearly confuses me.

Wealthow

Theodoric reply after a day;

Wealthow,

Yes, its true. Nervas grave was badly destroyed, that I could say to you. When I first saw what had been done, I swear that I wanted to kill whoever did it, goddamn him. You should inform Sibyl quickly. I shall send word to Signy and let her inform Altair; theyre nearest each other anyway. We should all move and investigate quickly, as this is too suspicious.

Theodoric

But when Signy received her letter and went to Altair, she was surprised beyond her wildest dreams.
