Bella Swan; The Newborn Vampire: Chapter 2

Hello people of wattad! Here's another chapter, you should count yourselves lucky! I really didnt feel like writing today, but I did and I'm soooo glad now=D Well, anyway enough from me.. Here's chapter 2 of 'Bella Swan; The Newborn Vampire' Enjoy! Stacey:-)

Bella Swan's POV:

"..Catrin St.George, Rachael Stagg, Jessica Stanley, Bella Swan.." I watched the other girls go up on stage before finally going myself. I took my diploma off Mr. Cantabile, shook his hand and took my seat. After watching the rest of the graduates, we all stood up and threw our hats in the air. Everyone was hugging and crying now, I saw Jess, Angela, Mike and Ben walk over. "Hey guys."

"Bella, we're gonna miss you so much!" Said Angela. I hugged them all and went off to find Charlie. When I eventually found him, his eyes were all red and puffy. "Dad, you've been crying?" I asked.

"What? No no, don't be silly! I don't cry." I could tell he was lying but didn't bother answering, I just pulled him into a big hug. After a few moments I pulled away to find a smiling Jacob and a not so happy Billy. I gave them both a hug and walked off to find the love of my life. I soon found him talking with Carlisle and Esme. He must have head me coming because he turned around, and gave me that crooked smile he knows I love. He gave me a big hug, and then practically pushed me over to Carlisle and Esme. They both gave me a hug before Esme spoke, "Hello Bella, did you enjoy graduation?"

"The waiting was horrendous, I'm glad it's over if anything!" She laughed, and Carlisle smiled. We talked for a few more minutes before I heard Charlie calling me over, he must be ready to leave. We're going to the diner, to celebrate. I love Charlie and everything but, the diner? Is he serious? Oh well, the sooner I leave the sooner I get back to Edward and my new life! We got in the cruiser and set off. Charlie made a bit of small talk on the way but nothing interesting. When we got there, I ordered fish and chips with a side salad, where as Charlie ordered his usual. We ate in silence, it wasn't an awkward one though. Charlie was looking up at me every few minutes, as if he knew he was going to lose me. When we'd finished we had a small chat, and then left. He was coming with me to the Cullen's for a bit. We drove through the windy roads in the forest up the Cullen mansion. "Wow, they've got a rather large house."

"Yeah, I guess they have.." was my reply. He stopped the cruiser, and we got out. I walked up to the door, knocked twice and waited for someone to open the door. If Charlie wasn't here, I would have been inside by now. But because he was here, they couldn't use vampire speed. The door opened and there stood Esme with the biggest smile. "Welcome Charlie, Bella," she said. We walked in to find Emmett and Jasper fighting over the games console, Rosalie and Alice huddled over a fashion magazine and Edward playing the piano. Just like any other day really, as if graduation never happened. I left Charlie to talk with Carlisle and Esme, and walked over to Edward. I sat next to him on the piano bench, and just watched him play. It's amazing how his fingers glide over the keys, well he has had a LOT of practice.. like 100 years! When he finished the song he turned to me, and gave me a gentle kiss. "Hello love, ready for tonight?" he asked. "More ready than I'll ever be." He smiled and took me over to the couches. Emmett and Jasper had stopped fighting over the games console now, and were sitting having a conversation. Rosalie and Alice had put the fashion magazine on the table, and were watching their husbands with silly smiles on their faces. Edward and I sat on the loveseat. Everyone was having their own private conversations, then Carlisle stood up and quieted everyone down. Everyone knew what he was doing, but Charlie had a confused look on his face. "Well, this is nice eh? Anyway, Charlie? Bella, Edward and well the whole family would like it very much if she moved in with us," he was giving us all the same look. He was asking Charlie if I could move in so they could change me, and then fake my death. It's easier for him. "She and Edward are really close, and they're very responsible and they'd like to live together. We'll all be keeping a close eye on her, and everyone would love for her to move in! Emmett would gain a little sister to tease. Jasper, a reading buddy. Alice, a sister, a shopping buddy, a makeover victim." Everyone gave a little chuckle at this. "Rosalie, a sister. Esme and I, another teenager running around the place, and Edward, his girlfriend and maybe someday wife with him every hour of every day." Charlie was just sitting there with a blank face, but I could tell he was thinking very hard. His eyes met mine, and his face immediately turned sad. "Bells, do you really want this? You want to leave me on my own, with my rubbish cooking?"

"Dad, I'm really sorry but this is what I want. Edward is my soul mate, I can feel it. I want to be with him, all the time. And the Cullens are willing for me to live here, and that makes me happy, isn't that what you want for me?" He sighed, "Of course I want you to be happy, but I only just got you back. I feel like i;m losing you again."

"Oh, dad! Your not losing me, you'll still see me. Just not as often, I'll visit loads. And I'll even stay over and make food for you some evenings. Please Dad, I really want this." I was close to tears now, and Edward could see that so he put his arms around me and kissed the top of my head. I could feel Jasper calming me down slightly, I turned and smiled at him. "Okay, fine Bells. You can live with the Cullens, on one condition! You visit at least 3 times a week, and you cook every time you visit." By the look on his face, I could tell he was still sad but he had that 'I'm trying to be happy' look. "Thank you Dad! I love you so so so much! I promise I'll visit." He just smiled, so I went and sat back down with Edward. We all just talked for another hour or so before Esme announced food was ready. The Cullens excused themselves from eating, they said they'd had a late lunch. So, we all sat round the dining table, me and Charlie enjoying Esme's food and the Cullens just talking. After we'd finished, Charlie and I said our thanks to Esme for the food. Charlie then decided it was about time we left, he said thank you to Carlisle and Esme and then started walking to the door. "Aren't you coming Bells?"

"Yeah, hang on. I just need to talk to Edward for two minutes. I'll be out in a minute." He smiled and walked out to the car. I turned to Edward, "I can't be changed tonight, it'll break his heart! He already thinks he's losing me, I can't bear to think that he thinks I'm dead! We should hold it off about a month, and then do it." Edward was looking at me with an understanding smile. "Whatever you want love, you want to hold it off, we'll hold it off. But your still moving in with us, you should spend tomorrow with Charlie, and then the day after pack, and move in. That way you get a full day with him before you move out."

"Your right, I'm going to do that. Thank you Edward." I hugged him tightly and he kissed my cheek. I turned around and I could tell all the Cullen's had heard our conversation. "It's a very wise idea Bella, and it's also very nice that your thinking of Charlie like that." Carlisle said. I smiled, thanked the Cullens and walked out. I got in the cruiser and Charlie gave me a weak smile. The ride home was quiet, but I understood he needed time to think this over. When we got in, he went straight into the living room and put the TV on. I went in the kitchen and got him a beer and told him I was going to bed. He didn't say goodnight or anything, he just grunted. I have a feeling tomorrow will be awkward, but I'll try and be happy.. for Charlie's sake.
