Adam Taurus~
"...Oh..." was all I could say.
I had failed. Every aspect of my life crumbling as cold steel replaced the warm feeling my body once possessed.
'...Father forgive me for I have failed...' I thought as my body dropped to its knees.
I was beaten, betrayed, and for the first time felt guilty for actions taken throughout my life.
The wind rustled my hair as I listened to the waterfall.
'So... peaceful..." I thought as I felt my body lurched forward.
I was feeling dizzy. So much so, that I became lightheaded. Then all I could see was black. I was blind but I still felt the wind rush against my exposed skin. The cool mist of the waterfall. The pain in my chest. Then an instantaneous shock of pain through my spine made all previous feelings disappear.
I truly thought I was dead until the cold water at the bottom of the waterfall reminded me I was not. I tried to move my body but it refused to budge. As I sank deeper into the water my vision returned. I saw the sun gleaming off the top of the water making it turn amber in color. It reminded me of the sunsets I used to watch when I was little.
'When I was little...' I reminisced closing my eyes thinking fondly of my parents and my years as a child who was loved not hated.
I had no idea how much time had passed but the water carried away my worries and pain just like it did when my parents...
"Adam! Run!" rang though my head as I relived the horror of that night.
I opened my eyes in shock. I couldn't see who was holding me but with no strength left I passed out.

"Sir! Sir! Stay with me! T... go... get... h...!"
A/N: Thanks for reading this first chapter of my new book! I know I have not been writing anything lately on my other stories but I really wanted to start something new.
