You decided to go help whoever is yelling.
You rushed into the alleyway to see a young girl being surrounded by three thugs. Or, they looked like thugs, at least. Wasn't very nice to assume.
"Help!!" The girl yelled. You quickly ran up to her and shoved a thug out of the way before inserting yourself as a shield between the thugs and the girl. While the thugs seemed unamused, the girl was very grateful.
"Th-Thank you...!" The girl panted.
"Hey, move it!!" The thug ordered. You stood your ground.
"Alright... looks like we'll have to teach the two of you some manners!" A different thug snarled.
You were pulled into a battle.
