So yeah I'll be reading different books, some from wattpad and some different books as welland I'd be writing about them, talking about my favorite songs and movies, about places I visit and about gadgets and stuffs [if thet ijh ebhar posibal] in he...
Its actually been days since I haven't continued this book. But just like three days ago, I got a request by Sin_lugar to review their book. And the name of the book is The Ice court. ( Idk why am I mentioning this again after mentioning it the damn title, wtf author)
So now, let's start with the long ass review....
1.TITLE
The title, according to me is pretty interesting. I actually was hooked to this from the moment I read the title. It creates a suspense about the story in our minds. I would give the title an 8/10.
2. COVER.

This is what the cover looks like. The cover actually gave me the game of thrones vibe. But just to say for starters, this cover is amazing. It explains the theme of revenge in this book, which I'll talk about later. It also explains to great lengths, the female - centric theme. But there is one thing that doesn't look prominent in the cover, that is the title.... And that is because of the font size and the color. It blends with the background, but as the title of the book, it does not look prominent. ( I'm sorry if I am sounding rude) so the cover would get a 6/10.
3. CHARACTERS.
There are not many characters in the story. But the principle characters ( that I find are important to the story) are:
PRINCESS AELYN : Strong, powerful, focused, brainy, beautiful, sassy, has some hint of emotion in her.
PRINCE DYLAN: Now I may not call him the typical prince charming, but he is also very smart or at least looks like it. ( author nim actually I'd like it if there's like a love plot between Aelyn and Dylan ¦D) . Oh and I forgot to mention, they both are from the rival royal families. ( I love this)
LADY ALYSSA RAINWATER : My absolute favorite in this story. She seems to be very powerful and influential, and she's a woman of few words. But she never beats around the bush and is very clear about what she wants. She's an ally to Princess Aelyn.
4.THEME
There are, according to me, two prominent themes as of now. So I will only discuss about them.
REVENGE: This theme is so very prominent from the very first chapter. Aelyn's demeanor shows it continuously throughout the first two chapters. Even the main focus of the story is towards revenge. As I mentioned before, it is also depicted through the cover.
ADVENTURE :
The second prominent theme. It actually starts from the third chapter. Aelyn's inquisitive nature will lead her to the adventures coming forth in the story. I actually find that this theme is a bit sidelined, but I think let's not talk about this until the story progresses because this theme has just begun.
5.SETTING.
The setting of this story is still in the royal palace of prince Dylan. The setting according to me has to be more detailed, but considering the fact that it's only three chapters yet, so we'll wait for that as well. As of now I'll give this one a 7/10 because the author has beautifully elaborated the library and the secret tunnel.
6. WRITING STYLE :
Seeing that it's a first time writing experience for the author, the writing style is very good. Actually very elaborate. Just that the setting isn't that elaborated by the author, but as I said, let's wait because it's only three chapters yet!!! So the writing style gets a 7/10 again.
7.OVERALL:
Overall this story has actually had a really good start and the storyline is very clear and awesome. I actually talked to the author about the character of Dillon and about changing his name. Well I'll write about that in the Author's note. So my overall rating for this one is 7/10. By the way Sin_lugar is doing a very great job with this story. So guys please support this author and keep on voting for her.

Clyde– A Scottish name, Clyde means forever flowing like the river achieving great name and success throughout the World.
Ethen– A Latin name, Ethen means the one who is firm and strong and will live very long.
Harold-A Christian name, Harold means the most powerful leader
Konrad– A German name, Konrad means a bold and brave counsel who is an honest advisor.( I think this name suits him the most if seen through Aelyn's pov.)
Malcolm– Malcolm is a Scottish name that means born with the royal blood or the son of the king.
Medwin– Medwin is an English name that means a strong friend who will not shy away from supporting you in adverse situations.(THIS ONE TOO)
Quinn-Quinn is a Scottish name that means the Fair Counsel
Tobias: A Greek name, Tobias means ‘The goodness of God’
