On that day we met, we immediately got along.
We shared the similar interests, we laughed at the same jokes, I just felt comfortable around you. Like I could share anything with you.
The following day, after a lot of pacing around and self bargaining. I finally mannaged message you and ask you out.
I didn't really expect you to say yes, but you did.
We met up for lunch and things went great. I was shy and awkward, but luckily you just thought it was cute.
We started talking everyday, sometimes go out for dinner, a movie or just grab a cup of coffee and talk the day away.
It really felt like something special, like a once in a lifetime thing.
You really got me and we never really ran out of things to say, everyday felt fun and exciting, as long as I could be with you.
On the day of our anniversary, I waited for you at our favorite coffee shop.
I sat down at our favorite spot by the corner with the comfy seats.
I was so excited. I had your gift ready and the entire day all planned out. I got there a bit early so I wouldn't be late. I couldn't wait to see you.
An hour passed...
Then two.
I started to get really worried about you.
I texted you...
No reply.
I Called...
No answer.
I started to get anxious, worried. I wondered what could have happened to you.
Were you okay? Were you hurt? Was there an emergency?
I had to know. It was killing me just sitting here and waiting.
I stood up and walked out of the cafe. I knew I couldn't reach you but maybe your friends knew where you were.
I tried her room mate, Hannah first. After a couple of rings she picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey, have you heard from Amy? I was supposed to meet her today, but I haven't heard from her."
"Amy? Oh yeah, her date came over and picked her up."
"Date?"
I felt my heart drop.
"Yeah, it was really sweet actually, there were balloons, music, flowers, gifts and everything."
My thoughts started racing, struggling for breath I clutched my chest. I close my eyes and tey to control my breathing.
This can't be happening.
"It was like it was straight out of a rom-com. Oh yeah, why did you-"
