The normal life

My sire tricked me

In the morning I have a very excited Danny hovering over me with a giant smile so I push him away "what is it what's got you so happy?" He grins wider if that's even possible "I found my mate!!!" I grin back and jump up hugging him ";that's great news who is she and what is she?" This is when his face drops "she's a human" my face also drops humans are hard to be mates with they don't tend to react well to the knowledge of us creatures.

We sat talking for a while I don't have work today neither does Danny but Tony and Jane did it was a Danny day we talked and made food. Danny is an amazing cook his food always makes me feel amazing and full. He calls the meal he makes the vampire special the sauce has traces of blood in it he makes a lasagne in separate dishes so he can have some too.

Just after lunch Jane and Tony turn up and we all talk for a while but soon after Jane leaves. she has something she needs to deal with you see Jane is part of the council she's the high witch of the council. So we hug her her and watch her leave. Jane is a very bubbly and fun girl but when she's 'working' she's very quiet and professional you'd think she is two different people.

Tony has to go around dinner time so we watch him go and it leaves me and Danny yet again to our own devices. I cook dinner and Danny does he's normal safety sweep of the house it annoys me but I know he just wants me safe. During dinner we talk about his mate his other half I'm not really fussed about it or care much because I have my friends and she's not an original to us she's an outsider but I'll welcome her none the less.

My ring tone sounds off and I sigh and chuckle as I answer Jane "hey Jane how's things going?" She chuckles "well how did you know I blocked my number was it that damn ringtone? Anyway when you go out you need to be careful I can't tell you anything other than be on your guard I assume Danny is still there so tell him too" Danny smiles "got it" I just laugh I hate his super hearing and I just crack up laughing with Jane as she hangs up to go back to the meeting.

Danny went into the lounge to pick out a film to watch while I had a shower and got changed. I put new pyjamas on and actually put a brush through my hair which I rarely do on lazy days even Danny is in Pyjamas "so what film did you pick?" He just grins at me "you'll know it when it's on" I chuckle and smile sit doesn't bother me what film is on I like anything as long as it's not a mushy romance film I'm happy.  

We are watching the movie when the door bell rings I frown but answer it anyway I open the door and there stands James all beaten and bloody. Danny smells the blood and is stood behind me in a flash and growls loudly but I let James in to clean up and tell his story on what happened. After about 20 minutes James is in the shower and Danny turns to me "I don't trust him the blood doesn't smell like a vampires there is something off about it I'm staying here till he is gone" I nod and I watch the film sat on the floor Danny behind me on the sofa as he said "it's safer to sit this way" I agreed and that was it.

James came down all clean and in spare clothes and starts to tell his story but none of it makes much sense well it makes sense but it doesn't add up. There are odds and ends that don't meet properly or sound right an elfin witch apparently attacked him with some vampires and some werewolves but elfin's are very peaceful people they live in a different dimension to us and don't often come out unless it's a trial for a creatures crime so none of it meets up.

Why would a elfin witch attack a vampire and why would they team up with the ones their attacking and with werewolves it goes against council rules. None of this links together none of it makes any sense and I cannot hear any truth behind anything. Why would they attack James anyway he may be an idiot but he has done nothing bad as far as I'm aware.

When he finishes his story we are quizzical to what actually happened but we leave it be eventually James thanks me and leaves.as he leaves the window to the kitchen smashes and vampires flood into the house about 7 all together all are rogue and do not belong to a coven you can tell by their blood red eyes they let their vampire side fully control them. Me and Danny are fighting them off as much as we can when they pin us both down and we hear one laugh manically and he speaks softly a little too softly for my liking "oh look it's the pup and the princess Rayne ... take them alive" I feel something pinch on my neck and I hear a loud roar before everything goes black
