Mix in one unknown structure

1 experimental transportation mechanism

4 very smart Fisch

1 accident

1 ruined date that turns out quite well

Apply the Fisch to the mechanism. Wait about 3 weeks. Allow one accident to disrupt a date.

Well, it’s been about three weeks since my last entry. About two days after my last entry the army led a raid against a group of fisch. I was busy making ammo for my job and medicine for doc. She even had to hire six other people to help, though not all at once. She’d hire two, they’d quit, she’d have to hire a few more, it was a mess. I really think we need to have some sort of college in this city; otherwise all we’re going to have is a bunch of ignorant metal smiths. I guess the army doesn’t see the need for much else, but there should be something. We should at LEAST have a few more chemists so it doesn’t fall all on Doc, maybe a few computer programmers so we can make our own electronics instead of just buying from Earth. That and I think the Fisch would make really good mobs in an MMORPG.

Either way, I had quite a bit of overtime payment, as well as plenty of spare chemicals from Doc. Mix that with the tome Wally lent me, I’ve made a number of improvements.

I have also had plenty of time to think on, another matter. This lead me to what most recently happened.

I was waiting in a restaurant that Casita and June had both told me about. “Fisch Devine,” a strange name for a lower earth restaurant. I didn’t know about the Fisch part, but the food certainly smelled divine.

I stood as I saw May enter the restaurant. She wore a knee length green skirt and a yellow shirt that looked quite nice, if a little tight. I guess with the frequent breaches loose clothing was not an option, and she certainly had the body for it. Of course, she wore her weapons belt over it, but so did pretty much everyone else.

“Hey Jason.” She said, smiling. “What a week huh?”

       “Quite.” I agreed.

“So what’s with,” She made a gesture to the restaurant in general. “And why are you dressed up? Is it a holiday or something?” I was wearing a dress shirt and pants.

I paused, guessing she hadn’t figured it out. “Well, um, I wanted our first date to go well, I guess I should have,” while I talked she had moved, and stopped me with a kiss.

“I know, I just wanted you to say it.” She said, stepping back. We both took our seats. “So why didn’t you join the fight, you wouldn’t have had to do the double shifts.”

“They weren’t that bad, and Doc would have been lost if I hadn’t helped her. She even resorted to letting me make LSS and LHS,” She gave me a look, “LSS is the stuff I used on Rachel and LHS is an improved version that is harder to make but has Analgesic properties.”

“I bet the soldiers loved that.” She said with a chuckle.

“I actually got a few letters. I never knew you could combine a thank you letter with a death threat, but they found a way.” She let out a bit of a chuckle at that. “But Casita said that it really helped, especially with smaller cuts and burns. Apparently Fisch can use fire.”

“That or acid.” May replied. The waitress came and we each placed an order.

“With all this work what have you been up to?”
