Megan's POV
"Were gonna go to the Ellen DeGenerous show today so you better get ready." Shawn says coming into my room. "Wait What? Ellen? Like THE Ellen DeGenerous?" I ask. "yep." he says smiling. "WHAT?! WHY?! OMF ARE YOU SERIOUS?" I scream.
"Well I'm performing sooo..." Shawn says. "WHAT THE ACTUAL SHAWN? OH MY GOSH IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" I say hugging him. I jump on him and he catches me and I wrap my legs around his waist.
He puts me down. "Well get ready!" he says laughing. "Were leaving in 1 hour." he continues. "1 HOUR?! I DONT HAVE TIME TO PICK AN OUTFIT IN ONE HOUR!" I panic. "Relax. You look good in anything." Shawn says going out my door.
"MAHOGANY! IMMA NEED YOUR HELP!" I scream. She comes in my room immediately. "Watcha need?" she asks. I point at my clothes and we face lights up. "YAY!" she screams.

I take one final look in the mirror. A blue, lace, long sleeved dress and orange heels.
"Damn. I'm good." Mahogany says laughing. I leave my hair down and she does my makeup.
When were done it's only been 55 minutes. "MEGAN! WERE LEAVING NOW!" Shawn screams from downstairs.
Mahogany steps out of the room onto the indoor balcony. "PRESENTING MISS MEGAN COLLINS!" She screams. I walk out of the room and down the stairs. "Geez. You look amazing." Shawn says in awe. "As do you." I say while giggling.
We go outside and get in the car. He opens the door for me and I sit in the passengers seat.
"Are you ready to perform?" I ask. "Yea. Just a little nervous that's all." he explains. "I'm sure you'll do fine." I say smiling at him.
We get to the studio and I'm kinda exploding inside. He holds my hand and we walk in together. We see all the crew people. It's honestly really cool.
"Hi Shawn. You're dressing room is over there." says a lady. She points to a door that says Shawn Mendes.
"Thank you." he says. "Im gonna go get ready so just wait here." he says kissing me. "Ok." I respond. I look around at people. Microphones, cameras, lights.
I turn around and bump into someone. He grabs me by my shoulders to make sure I don't fall. I look into his face and it's ANSEL FUCKING ELGORT.
"Sorry, didn't see you there." he says. Like the awkward person I am I just look at him. "Well see you later." he says smiling at me.
JUST LIKE THE BOOK. JUST LIKE THE FAULT IN OUR STARS. WHEN GUS BUMPS INTO HAZEL. WOW. MKAY. IM DONE WITH MY LIFE.
I technically die right there. Then Shawn came out in a flannel and jeans. Wow he looks hot.
"Thank you." he says. Wait did I just say that out loud? "Yes." he says laughing. Shit.
"Well guess who I bumped into just now." I say smiling. "I'm guessing Ansel Elgort?" Shawn says. "YES. I DIED SHAWN. DIED. D-I-E-D. DIED." I say.

"Give it up for Shawn Mendes everyone!" Ellen says. I'm watching from backstage on the TV.
She walks per to the chairs and sits with him.
"So how are ya Shawn?" she asks. "I'm good, good." he says smiling. "So how did you figure out vine?" she asks.

It's been like about 15 minutes. Shawn looks like he's been enjoying it a lot. Then one of her questions catches my attention.
"So you have a girlfriend now, Megan right?" Ellen says. "Yes." he says smiling. "She's actually backstage right now." he continues. "Oh. Let's being her out here." she says. Oh shit. No no no. Millions of people. watching me.
The guy with the microphone leads me to the door where people enter.
I take a deep breath and step out. Everyone erupts into a loud cheer. I wave at the crowd. Ellen stands up to greet me and I freak out on the inside. I hug her and sit down I'm the extra seat next to Shawn. He grabs my hand and smiles at me.
When the crowd settles down, Ellen starts asking us questions. "Hi Megan." Ellen says. "H-hi." I stutter. Shit. I just embarrassed myself. "So how long have you guys been dating?" she asks.
We look at each other. "About 6 or 7 months." we both answer. "So how is it with Shawn? Ya know, going everywhere, traveling." she says.
"I mean it's pretty good. He's a good boyfriend." I say smiling. He smiles at me and kisses my cheek.
"She's the best girlfriend in the world." Shawn says.

SO SHAWN WAS ON ELLEN. I CRIED.
