Prologue

As soon as I was dressed and inside my house I hurried to get my cell phone, needing to make a call immediately. I pressed the number two and waited as the phone rang. I heard a click after two rings, I didn't waste my time on greetings or introductions and just got straight to the point.

"I'm coming, I need a ticket in two hours." I said as I yanked open my closet door and searched for my duffle bag.

"I'll see what I can do, call you in ten." The conversation was short and to the point, just the way I liked it.

I pulled open my drawers and stuffed some essential clothing into the duffle bag on my bed. I knew it would hurt my parents if I left again but I couldn't stay and accept my fate and even though I probably wouldn't be able to outrun it I would be damned if I didn't at least try.
