Jumping out the bed the second I heard a car pull up in the driveway, I run to the front door and saw Nik laughing at me with my messy bed hair and pajamas. I saw Elijah and Rebekah get off the car, instinctively, I ran to Elijah and engulfed him in a breathless hug, "Oh, how I missed you, 'Lijah. You cannot quite imagine the horrors of being with Nik for these past few days." I breathe out, pulling away from the hug. He chuckles, caressing my hair, placing a small kiss on my forehead, "I do wish my brother took profound care of you in my absence."

"I did more than taking care of her, dear brother." Niklaus greets him, standing in the doorway. I glance at Rebekah, the last time I saw her was the day I was hell bent on killing everyone in Mystic Falls for killing Kol.

"Bekah, I see you're still human. Also, I'm very sorry for those harsh words I've spat at you. Please forgive me." I smile sheepishly. On the other hand, the two brothers exchanged glances to what I was saying about.

"I forgive you. I do understand the anger you had, after all, he was your favorite." She leans for a hug which I returned and heard from behind, "Correction, I am her favorite Mikaelson."

I snort at Nik, "No, not really. I prefer Kol over you, Nik."

We walk up back to the house and to the living room, sitting around the circular table, I sat between Elijah and Niklaus. Rebekah was the first one to speak up, "Elijah, being human means a fresh start. I can grow old and have a family and fill my days with meaning, knowing the each one matters."

"Well, that was poetic." Klaus comments. I nudge him from under the table, glaring at him when he met my eyes.

"Well, if you can provide us with a more compelling reason for wanting the cure, Klaus, please." Elijah turns to Klaus, waiting for an answers. I cut in the conversation, "If I may?" Elijah nods at me.

"Speaking knowledgeably, Silas can appear as anyone. He got inside Nik's thoughts, convinced him he was dying. He'll torment him until he gets the cure. He is also more older than us, saying even more powerful. Maybe even me." I address, frowning. Looking at Elijah for any replies or emotions whatsoever.

"In doing so... he'll break down the wall to the Other Side. So it doesn't trap him there when he dies." Rebekah replies.

"He wants to reunite with his lost soulmate." Nik argues with his sister, "you of all lovesick fools should applaud his devotion. He'll open the floodgates for every supernatural being that ever died. Including our dead brothers, Kol and Finn. We'll have our family back." Klaus shrugs, clapping at his first sentence. Rebekah snorts in disagreement at her brother.

"Please, you hated Kol and you kept Finn in a box for most of his life." Rebekah disagrees.

I turn to the eldest brother here, "Elijah, please." I plead to him to say something to stop Rebekah and Klaus from arguing. He nods, "Your personal discomfort might not be sufficient reason for putting the entire world in jeopardy, Klaus. I think our sister deserves a shot at happiness." Rebekah remained speechless but smiled thankfully at his older brother. On the other hand, Klaus and I sat with our mouths hung agape.
