(3rd pov)

Gaara barged into the tent, panting, out of breath, tired, but still standing. It was already dark out and the war on this side died out long ago. "Miku!" he half yelled, but soon calmed down as he saw his beautiful girlfriend sleeping soundlessly.

It seemed like the flawless sight gave him the strength he needed.

He smiled to himself and walked over and sat down on her bed gently. He pushed some of her bangs away and kissed her forehead, savoring the moment of knowing she was safe.

"You have a unique woman," came Sanya's slender voice. Gaara gasped and sat up quick making his sand protect him and Miku.  Sanya sighed as she walked out of the dark with a candle flickering to show her face. Only 2 torches, one on both sides. Both siblings in one room with the light in their eyes.

Sanya had her arms crossed with a bored look while her twin stood on the other side of the bed with a protective, shocked, scared, and stunned look in his eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Gaara asked sternly. Sanya sighed as she leaned against a tent pole looking at her nails.

"Nothing much..." she said almost brushing him off. Gaara glared, but soon that look died down when he heard something gurgle. He turned around to see a sand cradle and his breath hitched and he got wide eyes.

He kept his barrier protect Miku as he slowly walked over to the small bed and soon made a chocking sound as he looked to see his kids.

He shakily put his hands on his sons face, who just cuddled closer to his hand with a smile. "Is this..."

"Your kids? Yes." Sanya said walking to a pole closer to Gaara but still a safe distance away in order not to set Gaara off. Gaara had a light in his eyes as he picked up his sleeping children holding them close. He had silent tears run down his face as he held them closer.

Gaara stayed there for a while, but soon gently put them back down. Him and Sanya looked at teach other and silently ended up coming to a truce and sitting down near their kids.

Miku was heavily asleep still.

"What are you doing here Sanya, you're a criminal." Gaara asked while looking at his sister. She yawned nonchalantly. "Trust me it wasn't my idea to stay here for this little reunion. I would've been long gone if it wasn't to your wife's very convincing persuasion." she said stretching.

Gaara looked away. "She's not my wife." he said quietly.
