The Walking Dead Season 1 Episode 2 Guts

PREVIOUSLY ON THE WALKING DEAD

The scene opens with a police officer named Rick Grimes driving his car when he stops on an empty road and grabs his gasoline can and starts heading towards the gas station where he finds dead bodies lying everywhere. He then comes across a little girl and he tries to get her attention.

Rick - Little girl. Hey little girl.

The little girl who is a walker turns around and Rick sees a bite on her face and she starts growling and walking towards Rick.

Rick - What the

Then Rick pulls out his gun and shoots the little girl in the head.

Rick - Sometimes I wonder if you even care about us at all. She said that in front of our kid. Imagine going to school with that in your head. The difference between men and women I would never say something that cruel to her. Certainly not in front of Carl.

Radio - Suspects are two male caucasians. Be advised they have fired on police officers. One Linden county officer is wounded.

Then Rick is shot. 

Morgan - Hey mister do you even know what is going on?

Rick - I woke up in a hospital and thats all I know.

Morgan - You know about the dead people right?

Rick - Yeah I saw a lot of that out on the loading docks and piling trucks.

Morgan - No not the ones they put down the ones didn't the walkers. 

Morgan - Do you have any family?

Rick - Yeah but I don't know where they are.

Morgan - They could be in Atlanta.

Rick - Atlanta?

Morgan - Yeah refugee camps they told people to go there said it was safest. That they were working on a cure for this but I don't know. Then the last scene shows Rick trapped inside a tank in Atlanta when he hears a voice on the radio.

This scene is in a camp set up right outside Atlanta near the woods.

Lori - Any luck?

Amy - How do we tell if their poison?

Lori - There's only one sure way I know of.

Amy - Ask Shane when he gets back?

Lori - Yeah you got it. Thank you.

Then Lori gets up and walks over to Carl.

Lori - Dale i'm heading out. Sweetheart I want you to stay where Dale can see you okay.

Carl - Yes mom.

Dale - You too. Don't wander too far and stay within shouting distance. And if you see anything holler i'll come running.

Lori - Yes mom

Then she walks into the woods when from out of nowhere Shane grabs her.

Shane - Sh sh sh sh sh sh.

Lori - You scared the hell out of me.
