Chapter 6- He's My Bad Boy.
"I'm going to show Cleo around" Jesse said.
Cleo came over and hugged me." You going to be okay?" She whispered.
"Yeah, I think me and Jace need to talk" I said wrapping my arms around her before letting go. They were soon gone.
"We're let you two talk" Ben said grabbing hold of Liv's hand and they were gone too.
Suddenly the air grew thicker with tension and the awkwardness set in. "Hey" Jace said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and turned me around so I was facing him.
"So why didn't you tell me you were an agent?" I asked staring at him.
"I was worried what you would think" Jace said looking down.
"We'll I think it's extremely sexy, but I also think you should have told me"
"I didn't want to put you in danger" Jace said pulling me closer.
"But I was in danger. Jace you left me the morning after making me feel like crap, because you thought I wasn't safe with you and I got into trouble because you weren't there" I said. I knew he felt bad I could see it in his eyes, I could feel it by the way he held me.
"I thought you would be safer" Jace said.
"We'll I wasn't, so don't leave me again okay? Because I will kick you ass" I smiled with a little laugh at the end.
"I have something to ask you" Jace said biting his bottom lip.
"Is it bad?" I asked nervously.
"No it's not" he smiled. "Charlie, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked nervously looking down.
"No" I said seriously. Jace's head snapped up and he looked surprised.
"Oh...O-okay" Jace said looking anywhere but me.
I couldn't help but let a little giggle slip, I tried to keep my face as serious as possible. I brought myself closer to Jace and titled my head slightly. "Jace" I said and turned his head to look at me. "I'd love to be your girlfriend" I smiled.
I couldn't help but giggle when I saw a massive smile spread across Jace's face. "Come here you fool" I smiled crashing my lips onto his. Jace smiled into the kiss before grabbing the back of my thighs and lifted me up. I wrapped my legs around his torso and wrapped my fingers in his hair. I couldn't help but smile.
I broke the kiss making Jace pout. "You wanna know a secret?" I asked Jace looking into his blue eyes.
"What?" He asked
"I've always had a crush on you" I said my cheeks heating up.
"Why didn't you say something?" He asked titling his head.
"Because you were the famous bad boy, you don't do relationships remember?" I said.
"Because I never found the girl I wanted to actually be with" He said. "Until now" Jace smiled leaning back in to kiss me.
There was a cough which made both mine and Jace's heads snap towards it. "Sorry to butt in guys, but we have work to do" Nick said.
Jace put me down as we walked over to sit down. "So did any of you see these guys?" Nick asked me, Cleo and Liv.
"They were the same guys from the restaurant" I said looking at Jace.
I saw him tense up as the words rolled off my tongue. "Jace do you know their names?" Nick asked Jace.
