Kaden Avery is a budding journalist for the school newspaper.

He interviews the best of the best: captains of the school sports teams; highest scorers in the year; the most popular girls and guy's in the school.

Asher Coleman plays soccer. He's not the worst, no, he's not the best either. Paired up with his barely passing grades and being best friends with a popular jerk, he's never had the pleasure of making the front page- or any page in the newspaper for that matter.

Kaden and Asher never had anything in common, anything to bond over, so it wasn't like with a snap of their fingers they could be friends. At this school you couldn't just move cliques- it was just unheard of.

But when Kaden comes out, shocking the homophobic school, this could be Ashers chance to seize the moment, and embrace the newly acquired gayness.
