Dylan's POV
Name: Dylan Sanders
Date: April 25, 2050
Time: 1000
Location: Blue Zone
It's been almost two whole days since Mia has woken up. Mia has lost a lot of blood when we got her and Lexi out of the truck.
Doctors say she should wake up soon since she's had time to rest.
I've been in and out of her room to check up on her and Lex.
But Thomas has been staying with Lexi the most.
During the nights I've been staying in Mia's room in case she wakes up.
After taking a shower and getting changed, I brush my teeth and grab some coffee heading to Mia's room.
Deciding she may want some sunlight I open the blinds in the room.
I have never noticed a girl be too beautiful like her. Carmel eyes and skin but her color had drained out with how much blood she lost, lips so pink. I feel like a prevet just by looking at her while she sleeps. I sip on my coffee until I hear a faint voice that makes me turn'
Mia" Lex...Lex..Lexi !"
Mia jumps up, like waking up from a bad dream.
I rush to her side, setting down my coffee
Dylan" Hey It's okay your safe," I tell her. Her eyes are wide open taking in her surroundings
Mia" Dylan?" She says my name confusly as if asking if that's my name.
Dylan" Yeah, you remember my name," I say with a smile
Mia" Where are we?"
Dylan" At the blue zone, it's another safe zone"
She nods in understanding.
Mia" Can I have some water I'm really thirsty"
Dylan" of course"
I pour a cup of water for her to drink and hand it to her.
Mia" thank you"
Dylan" You know you really had us scared back there"
Mia" from passing out"?
Dylan" no from the glass piece you had in your stoumach"
mia turns quickly to check her stomach and stops when she feels the sharp pain.
Mia" Ouch"
Dylan" Woah easy we don't what you getting hurt again or opening those stitches".
Mia" where's Lexi"?
Dylan" don't worry shes okay, my buddy is looking after her"
she looks reliefed that I tell her Lexi is okay.
Mia" how long have I've been out"
Dylan" Almost two days"
Mia" wow"
I sit on her bed, facing mia.
Dylan"yup'
I look up to the ceiling anywhere but those eyes.
I feel my hand being grabbed and turn my attention back to Mia.
Mia" Thank you for helping us, it means a lot"
I put my other hand on top of hers.
Dylan" Don't thank me, I was only doing what needed to be done"
