Now I've Found Who I Am

Where am I getting with all of this? How is this "empowering me as a woman"?

My answer:

By reading the previous 'chapters' you now know more about me than most people. You know my struggles, my faults, and my stars. Of course, there are things you don't know and probably won't ever know, but you know what I'm built off of.

The struggles of most teenage girls are being who they are. It seems that we're always striving to be like everyone else and jump onto the bandwagon. It's the people who take their own path that strive for a different goal:  Finding who they are by following their heart.

So for me, life is the toughest and scariest roller coaster of all time. I can't control where the rails take me, but I can enjoy the ride.

What empowers me as a woman?

The ability to be who I am without worrying about where the bandwagon is going and being able to take each day one step at a time even in the hardest of times is what empowers me. It's what makes me who I am and who I will always be. We're all ticking time bombs our lives are set to go off at an appointed time and we have no control over it, so while we have the time I say we make the most of it.

I know you're probably thinking: People can control how long they live by cutting it short. That's true but it's not the path God set for each and every person that's the path that has been intercepted by fear.

Every little detail of every person is important. It's the ingredients that are mixed together to make every person unique to who they are.

What did the previous 'chapters' have to do with this?

People have their opinions on who we are and who we should be, but that shouldn't make us change our shape. The things we don't know about ourselves are the things we should strive to find. One day, maybe tomorrow, maybe in ten years, maybe in ten seconds, someday we will know everything about ourselves and it will be all we ever needed.

Our faults are the things others make us believe are wrong with us and we brainwash ourselves to believe that we are not who we really are. Every fault has some beauty behind it and that beauty is a part of us and we can't live without it.

Our stars shine brightly in our lives and can sometimes shine onto others. There are more good things about a person than they may see. We get blinded by the faults that we don't take the time to look around and see our stars and how important they make us.

We all have the parts of us that are important and that's everything. We need to embrace every part of it. Being yourself and being who you are meant to be is more empowering than anything else in the worlds.
