Phosphophyllite's POV

I looked to see where Antarc's arm had flew off to, but I had to look forward. I couldn't let my guard down!! Suddenly, something had been tossed down, gripping onto Antarc by their sleeve. It seemed like some sort of.. GRENADE?!

"Antarc!!" They looked at what had been on them, seeming confused. It worked exactly like an explosive, however.. But it was like.. a mix of a stun grenade and a bomb. I had started to cough in the pink mist, but when it had disappeared from sight, so did Antarc. They had ended up with the Lunarians. I had a secret weapon, though! My arms!! They were alloy replacing my real arms as I hurried up to where Antarc had been located, using my new alloy to leap the way they showed me. I was able to remember their exact words..

"Well.. it's not difficult, actually. You aren't putting any effort into it, though. Do it right, moron...."
If I couldn't do that, was I a moron for thinking I could actually save them? As soon as I thought that, Antarc dropped from the site, more shattered than ever, dropping me with them. They landed safely with me in their arms. But, setting me on my feet, I looked at them. "How.. How did you.."
"Just gotta put the effort into it, remember?" they reminded me. So they DID remember!!! I happily wrapped my new alloy arms around Antarc. "H-Hey, what're you..-" Then, without thinking, I pressed my lips onto theirs. They didn't decline the kiss, but he didn't kiss back either, which sucks! But.. this should've waited until another time.
Something had been fired from the Lunarians a while after Antarc had decided to kiss back. It'd been shot straight through their neck, their body falling right from under their head. It had hit me as well. My eyes widened at this realization once I let go, our lip contact drifting. I was stupid enough to let this happen. The Lunarians had come down to collect Antarc, and I was helpless. I couldn't move. I didn't have the upper body strength, nor any strength in my legs to pick myself up. My alloy arms wouldn't move. It was as if they'd ignored me, only taking Antarcticite away. But..

Antarcticite's final words were what really made me give in.
"Make sure sensei doesn't get lonely..."

I'm sorry.. I couldn't save you. As soon as my eyes closed, it was over for me.
