Sorry guys, this chapter is short because I wasn't sure how to write Mia into it. There is also, sadly, not very much of Max and Mia in here.
I walked into the Thunderman's to show Phoebe and Max my new phone. I have a ton of money saved up because of my report cards, so I was able to use it to get myself the new MePhone. The twins said they were going to try and talk their parents into getting them one, but I know Hank and Barb good enough to know that it most likely not going to happen.
"Hey, Max," I said, walking down the stairs and over to the couch.
"Hey, Mia," Max greeted me before going back to watching TV.
I hoped over his feet that he had propped up on the table and sat down next to him on the couch. He then waited for me to get comfortable before throwing his arm over the back of the couch and wrapping it around me. I smiled up at him before looking back to the TV. We sat in silence for a few moments before a commercial for the new MePhone came on.
"I really wish I had the money to get one of those," Max sighed out.
"So, your mom and dad said no," I questioned him.
"Yep. They said if Phoebe and I want the phone then we have to go and get jobs," He sighed out.
"Well, if you ever want to touch a MePhone, I'll let you touch mine," I shrugged at him.
"You bought the new MePhone," Max questioned me.
"Yep. I don't think you realize just how much money I have saved up," I shrugged at him before leaning forward and getting my new phone out.
I unlocked it and handed it to Max, the boy smiling happily and beginning to play on it. I rolled my eyes at him and leaned back into the couch to watch TV. The two of us were silent as Phoebe came down the stairs dressed very nicely.
"Wow, lookin' good, Pheebs," I said with a smile.
"Thanks, Mia," She smiled at me.
"Observe the nerd in her natural habitat. We can only hope she migrates south and stays there," Max said in a British accent, not looking up from my phone.
"Observe the jealous brother-," Phoebe started in a British accent before stopping and speaking normally. "Ugh, I don't have time for goofy accents. Is that the new MePhone?"
"Yep," Max answered simply.
"Max, did you steal a MePhone," Phoebe accused him.
"Phoebe, relax, it's mine. I'm letting him look at it," I reassured her, grabbing it from his hands.
"You got the new MePhone," She questioned me in shock.
"Once again, you guys seem to forget that I save my money," I sighed out in frustration.
