You're Innocent... But Who's Guilty?

Laura's POV/

        Moment of truth. Today's the day we find out if Ross's is guilty. If he is going to jail. And to be honest, I'm kinda nervous. I really don't want Ross to go back to jail. I've read about prison and it ain't fun. 

Judge: "Ok this trial's results are in. (Game shows be like :D) Ross Shor Lynch is--"

        But Chad quickly stands up.

Chad: "Your honor. before you say the decision can I say a little more"

Judge: "Very well."

        Chad runs over to us. He looks at me with pleading eyes. Riker, Vanessa, Ell, Rydel and Rocky looks at us in confusion.

Vanessa: "Whats wrong?"

Chad: "I have another idea on how we can prove Ross Innocent. Wait, actually we can't. But we can at least put him in jail for a couple of months"

Ell: "How many months?"

        Chad looks down. Uh oh, This was bad in both ways we try. But what does he have in mind?

Chad: "About three months. But, that's better in a year and a death sentence right?"

        We all nod when Riker speaks.

Riker: "But whats the idea tho? Judge Morris looks impatient"

        We all look at the judge. He was tapping his large hands on the desk. I look at Ross/ He looks sad, mad and depressed. Why did I have to be raped? Why did Ross have to love me soo much that he would kill someone for it.

Chad: "Well, Laura I want you to show your testimony. You're gonna have to tell everyone what really happened. Maybe we can change something"

        I stare at him and everyone in shock. Everything was to dramatic for me. I don't think I can do that. 

Rydel: "Please Laura. You're our only hope"

        Rydel says to me. Tears threatening to come out of our eyes. I look at Rocky who has a pleading look.

Judge: "Mr. Christian, you are just wasting our time."

Chad: "Sorry sir. I'll start now."

        Chad looks at me with pleading eyes. And so does everyone else. I sigh meaning I'll do it. Chad smiles.

Chad: "Ok, I now call Laura Marano to the stand"

        I get up and I walk in the big chair next to the judge. He crosses his arms and looks at Chad.

Chad: "Ok Ms. Marano. Can you please tell me everything and I do mean everything that happened"

        I sigh letting my emotions get the best of me. Tears in my eyes not wanting to stop. I look a Ross who was giving me a half smile. When one single tear streams outta my eye and then Ross frowns. He puts his face in the palm of his hands.

Laura: "Ok well, Riker, Rocky, Ell, Rydel, Riley, Roxy, Vanessa and Ross all decided to go to the mall. We were shopping for a dog we found. Roxy wanted to buy a toy so most of them left to go buy one. It was me, Riker and Vanessa left. We decided to go shopping. Riker actually was holding Pancake. He could'nt go into the store. Vanessa found a shirt for her to wear. But it was to short. So she gave it to me while she looked around. I walk back into the changing rooms.

Chad: "And like you said... There was no one there? Correct?"

Laura: "Yes, so I went to go change and I got an anonymous text from someone. But I knew it was Cody and Noah"

        Noah sinks down in his chair. His eyes circling the room. Chad glares at him.

Laura: "Well, than both of them came outta no where---"

Robert: "Just get on with the part when Ross shoots Cody"

Judge: "Silence!"

        I look at Chad not knowing what to do. he smiles and nods his head letting my skip to that part. I sigh.

Laura: "Ok well, Noah just left sexually assaulting me and Cody walked in and stripped till he was naked. He started doing it rougher and then everyone walked in. Ross saw what he was doing and he shot him twice. One on his shoulder and the other on his stomach. He fell on the side, away from the door. The cops came and he took Cody, Ross and Noah away. Since Ross and Noah were fighting"

Chad: "Ok, so Ross killed Cody because he started everything as well as Noah. Ross walked in and shot him because he was saving you"

Laura: "Yes, and because of there doings, I am pregnant with Noah's baby"

        I say not realizing that I said it and that I was crying. Noah looks at me in shock. Riker and everyone else just stands there sad. Ross was sad and mad.

Chad: "Ok your honor. I'm done"

        I sigh sitting down next to Rocky again. He rubs my hand while I cry softly, making sure no one was seeing me.A member of the jury runs to the the judge. Scribbling a few stuff down. My stomach flutters a little. Maybe I did change something.

Judge: "Ok. If anyone wants to speak please speak now"

~SILENCE~

Judge: "Very well, Ross Shor Lynch is proven... GUILTY by order of the jury!"

        NO! NO NO NO NO! Ross looks scared and so does everyone else. Everyone stands up and I start crying. I bawl my eyes out with Rydel and Vanessa. Riker, Rocky and Ell look at the ground. The police comes back holding Ross by his elbows.

Judge: "3 Months in prison. No death sentence"

        I cry even more while Chad looks disappointed.

    Laura: "No!"

        I say running pass everyone and into Ross's arms. He cries softly while I cry loudly. I hug him tightly not wanting to let go. He kisses my cheek.

Ross: "Ill be out before you know time. Laura, don't cry"

        He says with tears in his eyes. I kiss him softly and passionately.

Laura: "If your not going home. Then I'm going with you"

Ross: "You can't. Please Laura, don't do anything"

        Ross starts getting dragged out again. he wasn't fully out tho. I drop to the floor crying with everyone crowding me.

Vanessa: "I-Its ok Laura. He'll be out"

        I look up at everyone. Tears in my eyes. my eyes puffy and red.

Laura: "No,I'm not waiting for him. He's gonna be waiting for me... Ross!"

        The police guards stop and turn Ross over. Tears already in his eyes.

Ross: "Yea"

        He barely says. His voice raspy and scratchy.

Laura: "I'll see you in jail"

        Done:) Sorry for the wait. I told you guys.... School is getting my busy. I have work now. So right now, I'm on break, eating actually. That's when I finished this.
