Confident hands shift the stack of cards around. Shuffling it in a way that seems to memorize the pair of orbs watching the magic begin. The soft rustling of their jacket could be heard as their hands moved. Frizzy tufts of hair framed their face and bounced ever so slightly as they moved. Strands of ebony hair sprang in all sorts of directions, giving the person a 'just rolled out of bed' look. "Pick a card" chocolate orbs meet darker ones.Shaky hands pull a card from the selection presented to them. Ace of hearts. "Look at your card and then" he shuffles the cards then displays them once again "Place it anywhere in the deck." His hands move up quickly to fix his glasses and goes back to present the cards. With one leg slightly bouncing he patiently waits for her to place the card in the deck. The other pair of hands holding the one card seemed to be unsure. Dark chocolate orbs shift between their options.
She picks somewhere near the end but, close to the middle. "There?" he asks "Are you sure?" he questions.
"I don't know. You're making me nervous! Don't say that." Her long curly hair sways as she shakes her head out of nervousness. Was that not the right spot? The male in front of her smiles in an almost teasing way.
She quickly places the card into the stack hoping he wouldn't question her placement of the card this time. He then shuffles the cards in front of the curious girl.
He stops shuffling the deck and pulls out a card from the top of the deck. "Is your card-" he shows her the card "The ace of hearts?"
Her smile contorts into a confused frown. "How'd you do that?" He laughs and raises both his hands to do jazz hands. "Magic" he replied.
