Once he realized he loved her, he knew he had to tell her. About everything. He lead Richie home and they waited for Juliet to arrive.
She walked in and said "Pat? Rich? Why are you guys here before me?"
Rich said "I had a little problem but, Patrick helped me" Juliet smiled widely.
"I'm glad he didn't beat you up, Rich" She spoke with a giggle, and walked towards Patrick, placing her hands on his sides, and standing on her tip-toes to attempt to kiss him, but she only got to his chin.
He smiled a bit and leaned down, planting his lips onto her own, placing both of his hands on her cheeks.
Richie smiled to himself, knowing Patrick had or was going to change. He walked upstairs, going to his room to practice his impressions.
Juliet backed herself to the wall, and took Patrick's shirt off, the kiss getting heated.
Patrick's hands found themselves up her tank top, and over her bra, trailing to her back to unclip her bra.
Patrick realized what he was doing and immediately pulled away, running a hand through his hair.
"I'm sorry, baby, I just gotta talk to ya about somethin' important. As much as I'd love to do ya on the kitchen counter, this can't wait" he spoke in his deep, raspy, voice.
"Oh, should I be worried?" she looked in his eyes, searching for an immediate answer. He took a second to suck in a breath, then reply with, "probably."
He took her hand and led her to her sofa, and sat her down, and he himself stood.
"I was thinkin' about ya today" he started, giving her a wide smile. "And I realized, I liked you a lot. Way too much to not tell you this" she gulped, fiddling with her hands as she looked up at him.
"I um, I have this belief, that doctors call a disease, or somethin'. They even got a name for it. I think it's Solipsism" he began again, and by the look of Juliet's widened eyes, he knew that she knew exactly what it is. "Hey, wait, please don't stop feelin' whatever you feel for me, I got meds for it, and if you want me to take them I will. For you."
She relaxed herself, and looked down, then looked back up and nodded for him to go on. "It does get worse, unfortunately. I uh, I had a brother, named Avery. When he was just born, he wouldn't shut up. He didn't let me sleep, and he got all the attention. My ma didn't even say goodnight to me, and I hated it.
"I thought to myself 'well Pat, what if he's real? You don't want him to be real with you, do ya? That don't make ya special no more' So, I killed him"
Juliet immediately stared at the floor, inhaling a breath.
Patrick gulped, "that's the night they gave me the pills, that I didn't take. At school, I wanted to freak out all the girlies and kids that annoyed me, and I enjoyed catching flies, so i'd kill em' and put em' in my pencil case"
Juliet bit down on her lip, hard. She wasn't scared of him, just a bit shocked.
"Now, I know how much you love animals, and that's why I didn't think you'd like Pet Sematary, so this is probably the worst one for you.
"It was the only way to cope that i found that actually worked. I'd um, I'd take animals taht were still breathing, and I'd put em' in this fridge I found, and leave em' there, see how long they'd last" Juliet's jaw dropped a bit.
She looked up at the boy, and she stood up. "It's not that I'm crazy, I-I'm just broken" he spoke up, trying to get her to keep loving him. And she did. She still loved him. Yeah, "loved" I mean loved.
"I-I'm broken too, Pat. Maybe not in the way you are, but I am. I'll try my best to fix you, if you try to fix me" she spoke up, taking his hands in hers.
She didn't know if she was making the right decision, holding a killers hands. But, she didn't care. She understood that he had a mental illness, just like she did. Solipsism, Depression, yeah, they are very different, but they're illnesses.
He took her into his arms, and dealt with her flaws and depression, even loved her flaws and depression. She needed to do the same.
"Really, ya mean it? You still like me?" he spoke, happiness lacing in his voice.
She smiled and nodded, kissing his jaw.
His smile grew wider, wrapping his arms around her tightly, and she giggled.
"Just, two things. Start taking your meds, and stop going to the fridge. I know it's hard, Pat, I know, but try" she spoke, her voice muffled in his chest, but he heard every word she said.
"Only if ya be my girl" he spoke back, and she looked up at him, and grinned, nodding.
His smile was bigger than she had ever seen, and what she loved the most, was that it was genuine.
He leaned forward, kissing her lips passionately, remembering every detail about them, as if he'd never taste them again.
He hooked his thumbs in her belt loops, tilting his head to deepen the kiss.
Butterflies erupted in her stomach, her heart exploding with amazing feelings.
"Now, you look great when you're shirtless, and you're making me horny, so let me eat your dick" she spoke with a laugh, making him laugh back.
She had never heard his laugh before, and she loved it.
"I think tonight is about eating you, as a thank you gift, for accepting me" he spoke back, his smile never leaving.
"You know what? Why don't we just eat each other so we're both happy?"
"I've never agreed more"
It's been a rough month for me, so if I take long with updating, I'm sorry.
