Shadow, Sonic, and Silver were ducking from Amy's hammer.
"You idiots!" she screeched. "How could you let her wander off by herself! Idiots!"
"Amy!" Sonic yelled over her, trying to take her hammer away from her. "She did that all the time! We had no reason not to let her go have fun."
Shadow and Silver watched the two as they bickered, then separated them. Shadow yanked the blue hedgie, and Silver pulled Amy with his telekinesis.
"Sonic," Shadow muttered, "have you 'asked' Egghead about Ash yet?"
"Nope. Was I supposed to- Ow!"
Amy had walked over and smacked Sonic across the face.
"What was that for!" he asked, angered.
"You have no clue where your little sister is! You lost her. Even Ashley would be mad at you!"
"But she's fine! Maybe her phone ran out of battery or something."
"Maybe this, maybe that," Amy shouted at him. "There's no excuse for losing your sister. Even if her phone ran out of battery, she'd still be able to contact Silver, and, in case you haven't noticed, none of us have heard from her in hours!"
Shadow sighed and stepped between the two. "Rose, calm down. She's fourteen, she can handle herself. Faker, Rose is right. I agree with her on the whole 'none of us have heard from her in hours' thing. We have reasons to be worried for Ash."
"Me too," Silver piped up.
"As do I." Everyone turned to see Dr. Eggman striding towards them. He raised his arms in a non-threatening way. "I'm not looking for a fight here, Sonic."
"Yeah, right," said Sonic, rolling his eyes.
Eggman sighed. "I accidentally sent Gineva into space."
"Who?" Amy asked.
"She never told you? That little pincushion..." Eggman stroked his mustache before continuing. "Although, I suppose that makes sense. She never liked 'Gineva.' "
"Who is 'she'?" Silver asked.
" 'She' is Ashley," Eggman said nonchalantly.
"You did what." Shadow asked in a low, menacing voice.
"I accidentally sent Gineva into space."
Shadow glared at him. "How did you send Ashley into space on accident?"
Eggman sensed the danger and backed away. "It's not my fault. Cubot spilled oil on my button."
"Well, now you have to bring her back," Sonic said, crossing his arms.
"I can't. I attempted to figure out where the button sent her, but it never showed exactly where. It always showed a Mobius-like planet. It may be able to sustain life, but I can't be certain."
Nobody spoke. A cloud drifted lazily across the sky. A tree rustled in the breeze. The sun continued its downward descent.
A couple minutes later, and the Doctor was beaten, bloodied, bruised, and on the ground, unconscious. Shadow looked smugly at him. Amy panted under her breath, her hammer (taken from Silver) resting in her hands. Silver and Sonic sat nearby and observed the scene before them.
"Now what?" Silver asked. He stood and walked over to Eggman, kicking him lightly.
"I dunno," Sonic said, getting up and stretching. "But I know we've gotta go find Ash."
"Where are we supposed to look, though? It's not like the answer is going to pop into our heads," Amy sighed, putting away her hammer.
"Maybe," Sonic suggested,"Tails can help."
"Maybe... What do you think, Shadow?"
Shadow looked at them in mild confusion. He appeared as though he'd just been snapped out of some sort of trance. "Hm? What?"
"What do you think? Should we go ask Tails for help?" Sonic asked him.
"Yeah, yeah, go do that..."
"You thinking about something?"
"M-hm."
"And your house is on fire."
"M-hm."
"And the circus is in your quills."
"M-hm."
"And I just died."
"M-hm."
"You're not listening to me, Shadz," Sonic sighed.
"M-hm."
Sonic groaned. "You leave me no choice..." He leaned over Shadow's ear and whispered, "Maria."
Shadow jumped. "What? Oh..."
"Sorry, you were zoned out."
"Hm."
"While you two bond,"Amy said, beginning to walk away, "I'm going to go find Tails. Bye!"
"We're not bonding," Shadow huffed. "We're having a conversation."
"Yeah, Ames." A hint of a smile appeared on Sonic's face.
"Whatever you say," Amy before running off.
"Do you think she'll find him before one?" Silver quietly asked Sonic and Shadow. They both shook their heads.

Me (well, Cree, but you know what I mean): WOW. Oh my gosh, I can't believe I just... left.
Ashley: Lol, me either.
Me: *sighs* Ash, please. We don't need that.
Ash: *rolls eyes*
Me: ANYway, I feel like you guys deserve an apology for my behavior... I left for terrible reasons, and I didn't say anything for a while... I hate school...
Ash: *rolls eyes again*
Me: But I'm not doing as bad as I thought I would, (87% average for the semester through all my classes[take that Pre AP Algebra I!]) but STILL. I was gone for about five weeks overall this semester, so I'm sorry for that. It won't happen next semester, I promise.
Ash:*snorts* Don't make promises you can't keep, Cree.
Me: Oh shush
Ash: Can I talk now?
Me: Fine...
Ash: Yay! So, first things first...
Cree: *shakes head and leaves in annoyance, thinking that if Ash had something useful to say, she would've said it in her own book*
Ash: Firstly, I want to tell you something that Cree won't. *takes a breath* She's not writing the one thing she promised all of you. She isn't writing "Familiar" anymore. So if any of you have any ideas when this entire thing gets put on here, please share it with Cree if you want to.
Ash: That was the only thing, so bye!!
