Heeeey, sorry for taking a while to publish. I've been a bit slow lately but here's the next chapter! I'm also working on updating my other stories as well so stay tuned!
P. S. Sorry for any grammatical errors.
About a month had passed since Jimin left the city he grew up in. Now he lives in a small farming town in the country.
At first he had nothing but $15 and an expired coupon to Panda Express. The first week was admittedly hard, constantly looking for some kind of work or food.
"Hello, I'm Park Jimin. I'm in desperate need of work. I can do any labor you need in exchange for a place to stay." The small boy repeats for the fifth time that day. Jimin had been going door to door, many of the people were kind enough to let him stay a night and feed him but they just didn't have any work he could possibly do.
It was on the final house, one separated from the rest, that Jimin met them.
"Good morning, my name is Park Jimin. I could really use some work, anything really, I-"
"Oh my god you are absolutely adorable!" The man who answered the door was young, but tall and had wide shoulders, making Jimin look like a dwarf. "I-um- thank you." The smaller stuttered.
"You're Welcome, my name is Kim Seokjin by the way. You said you were looking for work?" At Jimin's nod, Seokjin broke out into a wider smile. "One sec, I'll go get my husband, would you like to come in?"
It took a moment for him to process exactly what the other said. Then it hit him that they were just like him. He wasn't alone. An imaginary weight suddenly lifted from his shoulders and chest, the bags under his eyes seemed to disappear, and the tears and feeling of solitude finally left him. So Jimin smiled, the brightest and realest smile he never showed in a long time.
"Yes please."
Jin's husband was Kim Namjoon, who was younger than Jin, together they owned the farm that stretched a good while, the reason it was more separated from the rest of the population. The couple was very welcoming, asking questions and answering some of Jimin's own.
When he told them his story about being different from the rest of the kids, tears began to roll down his eyes. The two older men were by his side instantly, offering a shoulder to cry on.
With a better understanding of Jimin's situation, the Kim's quickly agreed to hire Jimin in exchange for a place to live. Jin even joking about just adopting Jimin on the spot.
Jimin would be doing work around the house and property, like cleaning and helping Namjoon with tending to the harvest.
He did this for nearly a month, growing even closer to the couple, he found out that Jin loved to cook. And Namjoon was banned from the kitchen for his tendency to destroy Jin's pans.
Jin and Namjoon were so kind to him, Namjoon even insisting that he homeschool Jimin.
This continued for a few weeks, and that was when Jimin met him.
It was a hot day out, and Jin was going to the grocery store in town.
"Jiminie! I'm going to town, do you want to come?" The older called out . "Yeah! One second Hyung!"
The two drove down town to small grocery store. They split up to get the supplies faster.
"Jiminie, I got to go to another store here, do you think you can check out and then meet me somewhere?" Jin asked, an apology written on his face. "Of course, I'll meet you in front of the store your going to." Jimin smiled.
