"He was loyal and always helped us whenever we needed him, but we never thanked him. I just wish we could change everything that had happened that day."

Now...Chapter 6: Heartache

Kai had difficulty training, but he tried anyway. Memories started to flow in his mind and he also felt his heart ache a bit. "What's happening?" he thought out loud. He wanted to help Overlord more now but was unable.

Overlord felt something strange about Kai, something negative yet positive. He was determined to keep Kai and not let him go, so he decided to attack Ninjago as soon as possible.

Again Kai heard Lloyd's voice in his head, 'Kai, I'm sorry.' He was wondering where it came from. After training he went in his room, opened the drawer and took out a picture. It was a picture of him and Lloyd five years ago. Before Lloyd became a sassy diva they were best friends, and this was the last thing that could prove it. Kai felt his heart ache even more than earlier, then in sadness, he let a tear slide down his cheeks. But then this sad expression quickly turned into anger, "why am I even thinking about that, he betrayed me, left me, and abounded me, even after all that I've done for him." He grabbed a knife and shoot at a poster of Lloyd that was in his bedroom. It hit right on the heart, then he took the photo and tore apart, "this is all you deserve" he said heartlessly.
