Chapter 1: Flash Forward

" Rylee wake up, it's 6:30, time to get up for school and when you do wake up Shaine cause you're running late and we're leaving in 15 minutes" Holden yells up the stairs. If you didn't know I live in Georgia with my twin brother Shaine and our older brother Holden. Shaine and I moved out of home to Georgia to play American football so we moved in with our brother as he is a Coach for the University of Georgia football team, so we enrolled in The Kings Academy Highschool. After we got here Shaine and I made it on to the Varsity boys football team, yes I play and train with the boys as their starting quarterback and Shaine plays as one of the offensive guards alongside one of our best friends Carter. They basically protect me from being attacked.

I quickly jumped out of bed and grabbed my jersey, ripped jeans, white low-top converse while I went into Shaine's room to wake him up. "SHAINE WAKE THE HELL UP WE LEAVE IN TEN MINUTES" I yelled at my brother who did not move one bit so I did what I always do when he won't get up, I whack him with a pillow. "RYLEE GO AWAY, LET ME SLEEP" he groaned as he turned over in his bed. "WE ARE LEAVING IN 10 MINUTES PLUS WE HAVE TO PICK UP THE BOYS AND SIERRA, SO GET YOUR ASS OUT OF BED AND INTO THE SHOWER BEFORE I GET HOLDEN UP HERE TO DEAL WITH YOU HIMSELF" I scream as he starts to make his way out of bed and into the bathroom. I quickly ran to my bathroom and hopped into the shower for 5 minutes. After I quickly threw my clothes on and tied my hair in a bun I grabbed my school bag, training bag, jumper and ran down stairs and met an angry looking Holden. Sorry I said stuffing my face with cereal, then Shaine came down the stairs and we all ran out to the van and drove to the Parker twins house meaning Sierra and Elliott Parker. We also pick up the rest of the gang up from there so that's Sierra and Elliott Parker, Carter Holbrooks, Carson Hunter and Easton Reid plus Shaine and me so that makes 7 of us. We all met on the first day of 10th grade. We were shown around the school by Carter and Elliott. So it all started from there.

*Flashback*

Shaine and I just walked in the front doors to our new school The Kings Academy high school and everybody is staring at us. I turn my head and make eye contact with a really hot guy and he gives me a smile and a wave which I do back and give a big smile. We make our way through the canteen up to the office and are greeted by a nice old lady. "Oh hello dears what can I do for you?" she said in a really sweet southern accent. "Hi I'm Rylee Evans and this is my brother Shaine Evans. We're new here and wondering if we could get our timetables?" I say politely to the woman. "Ah the Evans twins, here are your timetables and locker combos, also we have arranged for two pupils to show you around so you have some friends right off the bat" she says pointing to behind us closing the little hatch window.

Once I turn around I am met with the same hot guy I waved to earlier this morning and another boy standing beside him. "Hey I'm Rylee Evans and this is my twin brother Shaine" I say to the two boys standing in front of me. "Hi I'm Carter Holbrooke and this is one of my best friends Elliott Parker who is also a twin to a girl" Carter said laughing, then saying "anyways seeing as how there is two of us we are going to split into two groups - Elliot and Shaine then you and me. Elliott you start on the West side of the building and we'll start on the East side "Carter finished.

We started walking down the corridors and through the double doors. "So what brings you to Kings Academy?" Carter asked looking at me and making me blush. "We live with our older brother because we couldn't live with our parents anymore" I say turning my head trying to not let the tears roll down my face. "Oh wait, stop I'm so sorry I shouldn't have asked" he said stopping and pulling me in for a hug. I wrapped my arms around him and rested my head on his chest. I couldn't keep the tears in by then I just let them fall. It's what they say right, better out than in. It's also the first time I have cried about the move and I felt comforted being in his arms so we just stood there for like 5 minutes and I got it all out. As I let go of him I start "anyways we also came here to play football" earning a questioning look from Carter. "Don't you mean soccer for you?" he says. I quickly replied "No I mean football. I played football for the boy's team at my old school. I was the starting quarterback for the boys team" I finished, getting an impressed look from Carter. "That's amazing Rylee, and weirdly enough this is the office for our head of football. I'll introduce you to him. By the way call him Coach Weston" he says leading me into the office. "Hey Coach, I think I've found a solution to our problem about Greyson" Carter says to a young, tall man that looks up at Carter and then at me. " Coach, meet Rylee Evans she's just moved here with her twin brother and guess what?" Carter says excitedly. "What?" replied Coach Weston. "She was the starting quarterback for the boys team at her old school. Coach you have to put her on the team" Carter pleads with his Coach. You could see the thoughts going through his head. He looks up at me and looks me dead in the eyes "you willing to work hard and become a part of this family, Evans?" he asked very seriously. I swallowed the massive lump in my throat which I didn't even know was there. "Yes" was all I could muster up. Coach walked over to me and gave me a firm hand shake and said "welcome to the family and by the way we are getting new uniforms after school today so come along with your brother and we'll get you guys the new gear for this year". "I will be there and so will Shaine, Coach" I say as Carter and I walk out of the office.
