Chapter 8: SHIELD

Wolfie's pov

I stare wide eyed at the scene in front of me. Shadow is standing with her left arm around Midnite waist and her right hand holding a knife to Midnite throat.

"Shadow. Put the knife down now and no one gets hurt." I say to her.

"NO! You always got the glory and praise you always got to make the decisions but not any more. " Shadow says.

I gulp.

"Natasha sneak over to the archery range and grab the black quiver of silver light weight arrows and the silver light weight bow." I whisper and Natasha sneaks off with out Shadow noticing.

She comes back and i strap the waist belt quiver of arrows around my waist. I hold the bow and notch an arrow, then raise the bow and point it at Shadow. I sigh and i aim it at Shadows eye.

"One more move and she gets it. Your precious sister dead and it will be all your fault", Shadow says.

I look at her confused.

"I don't have a sister. Stop playing around and leave Midnite alone". I say and I keep the arrow aimed.

Shadow slides the knife over Midnite's neck a little.

"No! Stop. Please just leave her alone."! I says and i drop the bow and the notched arrow on to the ground.

"Fine. But just remember your life is a lie and no one will come out of this unhurt". She says and dissapears.

I grab the bow and arrow and i put the arrow in the quiver. And i hold the bow as i run to Midnite. I kneel beside her as she sits on her knees gasping for air.

"I'm so sorry". I say and she starts to talk but I stop her.

"Stop talking it will make you lose blood faster come on let's go to the hellicarrier." I say.

' I don't..." Starts Tony.

" I don't care what you think or do or what ever, you lied to me. I trusted you and you failed me. You are not my adopted father anymore." I say and I pull out my phone and i type in a number and it rings.

"Who are you and how did you get the number". Says a voice on the line. I start talking.

" Wolfie Kris the girl who you force Mr. Stark to adopt only to see if she is human. I have a new threat for you that you want to hear about.

Also I'm not human I will explain when we get there. Send a jet." I say and Give Fury the address.

I then hang up i then crush the phone with my hand. They look a me confused.

"Eyes everywhere you don't know who can trace phones". I say and I pick Midnite up and put her arm around my shoulders.

" How did you guys get here"? I ask.

"Ran". Replies Clint I nod air starts to whip around us.

A quinjet lands and we all rush in side.
When we get in, Bruce and i take Midnite to the small med bay. Bruce takes out a first aid kit and Midnite sits in the seat.

The med bay was just a small area a little bot aways from the rest of the aircraft. Bruce stitches up Midnite's neck and lightly wraps gauze around it.

" Look..." She starts but I cut her off.

"No I should be the sorry one. This is all my fault I should have know and thanks to my stupidness, I've gotten you hurt and worse the other pack members killed". I say and look down.

"No, Shadow has killed only four pack members the power ones. Dares, Klaw, Fangs, and Death. The ones ones with powers she tried to kill me but I managed to survive". She says then winces.
