Author's POV

Margot was in a train, heading away from her old life, from her loved ones, from her family. She was heading to Central City. A place where she didn't know anyone and wouldn't worry about hurting the ones she cares about. She could only hope that it stayed that way. But would it really? Of course not. With her luck, she would make new friends, care about new people, hurt someone close, again. After all, life isn't always the way we want it to be. So after arriving at Central City, getting an apartment and a job, she didn't bother going out. Instead, she stayed at her new home, organizing her stuff, which consisted of her clothes, weapons and magic books. Yeah. Weird. Believe me I know. But if you knew her story you wouldn't think that. So, I will tell you a part of it and the rest, well, you'll figure it out along the way. Let's start then.

Once upon a time, 21 years ago, a beautiful little girl was born in the city of Gotham. She was the light in the midst of so much darkness. When she opened her eyes for the first time, her parents knew she was special and that they would protect her no matter what. So her mom left because she knew if she stayed, her baby girl would be in danger. But her father didn't take the woman's departure very well. As the girl grew up, her father was distant and didn't care for her the way she needed. Of course, he loved her more than anything and being away, in his eyes, was protecting her. He taught her the art of fighting, so she would know how to protect herself. Her butler or grandpa, as she called him, was the one that cared for her and was there for her when she needed. Her father adopted three boys and taught them to fight too so they could help him in his extra curricular activities. He was Batman and they were his Robin's. But, even if she didn't  want to, she was jealous. Her father praised and gave them attention. She was a genius and an amazing fighter but, above all, she was a girl who wanted her father's attention. Then, she moved out. Studied, got PhDs at a young age and found love. But she hurt the ones she loved causing her to flee. And here she is now, in Central City.
