Pic of Kyle above!

We waltzed into school with ten minutes to spare before the bell. Luckily.

I led Spec to the reception to pick up his timetable and locker number.

"Um, excuse me?" I asked down at the reception lady.

She looked up through the top of her eyelashes before huffing and lifting her head to look at us.

"Yes?"

"Uh, this is Spencer, uh... Spencer..." I stammer, desperately looking at Spec for a cover story. We didn't really think the small details through enough.

"Glown, Spencer Glown." He said, saving me from humiliation.

The receptionist hummed before turning to her computer and scrolling.

"It doesn't say anything about a Spencer Glown on here..." She trailed off looking back at us.

I bit my lip worriedly.

"Oh. Well, my Mom enrolled me quite a while ago, so there must be some sort of error."

"Why weren't you here yesterday or Monday?" She asked raising a perfectly shaped eyebrow.

Spec didn't miss a beat.

"I'm sure my Mom called in to say, but we've just moved in from Canada." He replied.

"Oh! You don't have an accent."

"Well, both of my parents grew up in America, but since my family's originally from Canada they brought me up over there. They just thought that I should have an American high school education like they did." He answered swiftly.

She nodded.

"Why did you join in senior year then?" She asked, typing something into her computer.

"Oh, you see, my grandfather got really ill, my parents wanted to stay there with him, it's still a touchy subject." He said with a small, solemn smile, obviously faking sadness.

The receptionist gasped quietly.

"Oh, you poor thing! Don't worry I'll just whip up your schedule right now!" She smiled at him.

I turned and looked at Spec with an awe struck expression, showing him that I was impressed with his lying skills.

He winked at me before turning back to the receptionist who was now handing him his schedule.

"Here you go! Oh, and Xaylia could you please take Mr Glown to his locker and first few lessons." She asks me, but before i can answer Spec starts talking.

"Oh please," he reads her name tag,
"Jennifer, call me Spencer." He says flashing her a dashing smile.

My heart swoons, and obviously so does 'Jennifer', but my swooning wasn't so obvious.

Spec smirks, obviously realising that he had an effect on older women.

I roll my eyes before grabbing hold of Spec's arm and start pulling him out of the room.

"Ok, well thanks, we should probably be getting to class now." I say to Jennifer.

"Ok! Bye!" She waves back, batting her eyelashes, obviously at Spec.

Well that goodbye was a little bit more enthusiastic than the greeting wasn't it?!

I drag Spec down the hallway towards his locker.

"Well I think she likes me." He states chuckling.

"Yeah, no shit." I mutter under my breath.

"This is your locker." I say, weakly pointing at the meal door before I carry on walking.

"Hey!" Spec shouts running after me.

"What's got your panties in a twist?"
He asks smiling.

"Nothing." I grumble.

"What's our story anyway? What're we gonna tell people about us?"

"Um, ok! How about I'm a close family friend who's transferred here from Canada to be with your family because I have family issues at home so my parents sent me here?" He asks.

"You had this all planned out didn't you?" I laugh.

"Well I had to do something whilst you took forever having breakfast." He joked nudging me with his elbow.

I laugh again, before crashing into a hard something, or someone more like.

"Hey! Watch where you're going you..."
I look up into the eyes of none other than Jamie.

Great! I wince.

"Oh, look what the cat dragged in! How're you doing Spit." He spat my name out venomously.

He looked at Spec before smiling sadly.

"Sorry that you got stuck with that, you're new here right? Even so, you must've heard of me. I'm Jamie. Why don't you come and join us, ditch that loser. She's so sad trying to make friends." Jamie stuck out his hand at Spec and smiled.

Spec glared at the shake, then looked back up at Jamie and glared even harder.

"Well, I'm not sorry that I'm with Xay, and I chose to be with her, I wasn't and am not stuck with her. And yes, I've heard enough about you to know that I would not want to come and join you, because you're a bastard. Oh, and FYI, Xaylia, is not a loser, you are the only one here who is as you pick on a girl who has never done anything to you. Don't you think that's sad?" Spec raised his eyebrows at Jamie tauntingly before grabbing my arm and pulling me with him down the hall.

"Thank you," I say, smiling gratefully up at Spec.

"But, you didn't have to, it happens all the time."

He stops and turns to look at me directly in the eyes.

"Well now that I'm here it won't happen all the time. And I wanted to, you should know by now that I have an instinct to protect you, it comes naturally to me, so now you better get used to it because I am gonna make everything better."

Sorry for the late update! I've been so busy with school work!
I hope you guys enjoyed it and keep reading!!
