Jin's words kept lingering on Soomin's little mind. She started to realize her actions but she hated being lied on. She hated how almost everyone pitied her and lied to her like it was nothing.
She was embarrassed when she thought of the old days where she had the time of her life with Taehyung.
She wanted to get some fresh air but it was the middle of the night and her mother was sleeping. But she couldn't stay there anymore. She felt suffocated.
She sat up and slowly got herself on her feet and then on a wheelchair as her coordinating system was still weak.
She strolled herself out of the room, making minimum noise.
She closed the door and turned the wheelchair only to find Tae sleeping on one of the hospital chairs.
He was wrapped in a blanket and his face looked really pale. She felt really sad and blamed herself for his state.
She strolled quietly next to him and sat there for about an hour as she tried to not think about anything.
She hallway was empty with only the two of them sitting there like strangers.
When she started feeling sleepy herself, she adjusted the wheelchair to move back to her room but the brake made a loud noise waking Taehyung.
"Soomin? A-are you ok? Is there a problem?" Tae asked checking the wheelchair.
"I-There's no problem. Y-you can go back to sleep." She said in a hurried tone.
"Where are you going? Why are you out alone?" Tae asked looking around.
"I couldn't sleep so I came out." She said looking down.
"You should not do that. What if something bad would have happened. You should take care of yourself." He said and sighed.
"Anyways where do you want to go? I'll take you." He showed his boxy smile but anyone could tell that he was just pretending.
"Actually I was heading back to my room." She said avoiding eye contact.
"Oh I'll take you there." He said but she stopped him.
"I can do that myself." Tae nodded and sat back as he watched her stroll away.
"But you can show me around the hospital tomorrow if you want." She said before entering.
Tae's eyes sparkled and he nodded before saying, "I'll be glad to."
