Imaginary Boyfriend || A Kim Taehyung fanfiction

IB 56 *end*

Everyone, please take your seat. The presentations will start in 5 minutes.

On hearing this announcement, the students hurried up with their rehearsals.

This presentation was really important, and it was visible as Taehyung was in a suit and smartly dressed.

Tae peeped inside the auditorium and saw his brother sitting there with a big smile and pride beaming off his face.
He was searching for that special someone who had promised that she will come.

"Kim, you have some guts. I believe all those beatings were not enough for you." Tae heard behind him and immediately knew it was one of his bullies.

He turned around and gave him a smile.
"I hope you get good grades." Tae said and ran near one of the teachers, trying to avoid any trouble.

"Taehyung you're in after her. Best of luck." The teacher said and smiled.

"Yes Sir." Tae said and tried looking at the auditorium again.

He saw his girlfriend hurrying over with and sitting beside his brother.

He felt more confident once he saw Soomin. She looked exceptionally beautiful with that dress.

Next, we have a very cheerful student who worked very hard the whole year. Kim Taehyung.

Everyone cheered loudly, Jin took his camera out and started recording as Taehyung walked on the stage.

Soomin felt butterflies in her stomach when she saw him being so perfect on a stage. It made her believe that he was born to be on stage.

Tae walked on the middle of the stage and bowed down.

"Hello, I'm Kim Taehyung. And I am an acting student. What I am about to show you will be a little disturbing to some people but I have given my everything to this project and I have made this project my everything."

The screen behind him lit up as he started speaking.

"I'm sure you have heard about the attribute called Aphantasia. It is an attribute where a person cannot imagine but think clearly. My project is that I pretended to be an imaginary boyfriend to help an Aphantastic to accept herself." He explained everything with confidence occasionally looking at Soomin who had tears in her eyes as she felt every emotion Tae had put in his words. She felt as if he was reading a book, her life story.

After his presentation, there were some questions asked by the judges. Even though they were tricky, Tae answered them with boldness.

After his turn was over, Tae went backstage and drank almost two bottles of water.

He felt someone closing his eyes with their eyes and his face had a soft smile before he said his girlfriend's name.

"What the hell hyung? Do I look like a girl? Look at my veiny hands." Jungkook said almost screeching.

"Shh are you trying to eliminate me or something?" Tae asked bowing to the teachers as an apolozy.

"Sorry hyung. I just came to congratulate you. You were really good. I was crying the whole time." Jungkook said scratching his neck.

"Where is Jimin?" Tae asked looking around.

"He couldn't come. But he will meet you when we go for drinks. I'm an adult now so I can join you all!" Jungkook said showing his bunny smile.

"Yeah an adult." Tae mocked him earning a cute glare.

"Anyways, I'll leave now. I have to sneak back before my mother notice I was gone." He said and took his leave.

Tae had to wait for another two hours before the winner was announced but when the time came, his hands were sweating badly. He really wanted this, no he needed this.

"Now we will announce the students who will immediately start working with 'THE STARZ' company as intern actors." The announcer said and Soomin's heart started racing.

"They will take total 5 students. We will now reveal those students in no particular order." Tae gulped and kept looking at the screen with an eager face.

"Park Jinhye
Min Emma
Lee Heesook
Kim Taehyung
Choi Miyeon

Congratulations. Please stay after the ceremony." The announcer said and there was a silence in the waiting room until the three selected girls started screaming and jumping and that is when Tae knew, his dream came true.

After everything was over, Tae was very tired and was literally dragging his feet to the college gate, he was an honor student now.

He kept on walking lazily until he saw someone standing near the gate, still inside the college. His lips curved up and he immediately ran towards her, lifted her up and twirled her around while both of them laughed lovingly.

He put her down and pecked her lips.

"You did it. I'm so proud of you." Soomin said ruffling his hairs.

"Thank you for staying by my side. I'm really excited for what will come next. They said we can start by next week!" Tae said whlith his sparkling eyes.

"I'm so happy for you."She said and leaned in for a kiss.

The kiss was sweet and short before they pulled off.

"Let's go. Haeun said that everyone is already at the bar." Tae said and intervined his fingers with her.

He looked behind at the college once again and smiled before walking away with the love of his life.

Jin came from inside to see if Tae had come but saw that Soomin was gone. He was worried until he realized that both of them forgot about him.

'YOU BRATS!!!"
