Chapter 12 • Back In L.A

Kristal's POV

I wake up and suddenly my head starts to hurt. I rub it to try to massage it but it isn't helping me one bit. I step up and open the curtains I look away once the sun hits my eyes. Is the sun literally trying to blind me?

I open my door and start to smell something baking. Did Ralph come here early? If he did then that's really nice.

Then I start to wonder, what did I do last night. I don't remember a single thing that happened. The only thing that I remember is looking at the post that leaked of Daniel and I kissing... ooh that, i'll get back to that.

I walk into the kitchen and see Daniel and Keri. How come they are here?

Daniel's POV

So I ended up staying the night at Kristal's house. We fell asleep while talking. When I woke up Kristal was still sleeping and I didn't want to leave her alone so I decided to make homemade waffles. But I couldn't do that without my mom so I asked her to come and help me.

I hear Kristal starting to come downstairs and once I see her enter the kitchen I smile. She looks like a mess though.

"Morning" Mom and I say in unison

"Hey" Kristal greets "What are you guys doing here?"

"I spent the night" I try to remind her. She probably doesn't remember.

"You did?" She asks

"Yep"

"Then Daniel invited me to help make waffles for you" Mom adds

"Well thanks, I guess," Kristal says

Keri's POV

I can tell that there is awkwardness. Daniel told me what has been going on. With the kiss. Kristal's childhood best friend coming to visit her. Then a photo of their kiss being leaked. And don't even get me started on Kristal getting drunk, maybe because of some of the fans sending hate towards her. It has been completely crazy. My phone starts to ring. It's Anna.

"Hello?" I answer. Daniel and Kristal look towards me

"Mom!" Anna screams

"Whoa turn your voice down. What's up?"

"Are you still at Kristal's house?" Anna asks

"Yeah, why?"

"I need help with some of my designing"

"Is it really important?"

"Yes, it's an emergency! Please, mom?"

"Okay fine"

I hang up and look towards Daniel and Kristal.

"I need to go Anna needs help with some 'Fashion Emergency'" I air quote "so you guys are fine here?"

"Yeah mom we are fine" Daniel answers

"Okay see you later guys"

"Thanks for the waffles Keri," Kristal says

"Your welcome honey"

Kristal's POV

Keri ends up leaving the house and Daniel and I eat the waffles in dead silence.

"So? Where did you sleep last night" I try to start a conversation

"I slept in your room"

"In my room?"
