I get out of bed to brush my teeth and deeply think on my dream there is going to be a new teacher, but is she supposed to be here? I'll have to confirm it later.
As I arrive in school, I check the supply closet for mr. Sygnus but I didn't see him there. This proves that he didn't die yesterday and he came to school before he was murdered. Before I leave I pick up what the teacher asked me to grab in the dream and hid it in my backpack. I put my bag down and rush to the staff room to find Mr. Sygnus munching on some caramel treats(my favourite 😭) and he greets me with a hateful stare"can't I have one moment of relaxing peace?" He grumbled." Mr. Sygnus? I thought you would be absent today."" And miss the day of a surprise test, never! Besides, if I was going to be absent, I would have told the school to put it on the board. Why did you think I was absent?" He demanded. I didn't really think this through, I just said something. "I thought I saw a substitute holding the math book of our class so I thought you were absent." I blurted. I think he took the bait so I awkwardly moved out of the staff room and headed to class. On my way, I saw a woman with long, tied hair, high heels (though she was still tall) and a formal dress, all looking familiar and when she turned around I recognised her face and screeched internally. She looked at me and asked" do you know where Mr.Sygnus is?" Just then I thought to myself, if I tell her Mr. Sygnus is dead, but if I don't tell her, it will look suspicious. I took a deep breath and said" I think he is in my classroom. He is my class teacher. Why?" With the most innocent face I could muster, I led her to my class and when she saw he wasn't there, she left without a word. Rude.
1st to 3rd period comes, no Sygnus. The moment of truth is 7th period because I don't want to go to the supply room, she might find me. But the real question is, who is the lava monster. My guess is Ignis, being her name and that this happened when she came. 7th period rolls in and since it's Mr. Sygnus's class, everyone were seated and discipline. Then the door opens to find a high heel step inside,then another. I failed. She stood at the front of the class " good afternoon students. My name is Ms. Arachna and I will be your teacher for math and all subsidiary subjects. I hope we all get along." She said with a smile. Why are they here anyway? It's a completely normal school? The only thing special about the school is my clairvoyance, and no-one else should know about it except me and my classmates( they believed me 100% when I predicted the future). This woman is"-len"mysterious and very dangerou"-llen"s. I should watch ou for her in the future."ALLEN!" Ms. Arachna said in my sensitive, sensitive ear." If you are so distracted, how about a work out? Go to the supply room and get the equipment for chapter 15." She said sternly. Luckily, I came prepared" oh THOSE? Mr. Sygnus told me to get it before class started. Speaking of, where is he?" I said. I need her to say something contradictory so I can trap her as a fake substitute and report her later or at least blow her cover for her to leave." Oh,umm... he had to take care of something at home so I came in as a substitute. But he might never come back to school again. It's sad really, he was a good man." She sobbed. Aha! Noone in their right mind would call him a nice man. They would either be forgetful and deaf or they didn't know him. And on top of that, this was the wrong class to do it to. We speak our minds like something. That was checkmate Arachna! We bombarded her with statements, questions and some worried about her health. To think Mr. Sygnus was a kind person, you must have a condition. Overwhelmed by the questions she screamed at the top of her lungs "SHUT UUUUUUP!" She looked like she was turning purple with rage. Because she was! Not good. If she turns into a spider, she would have to kill us all. I took out the equipment and have it to her." Shouldn't we start the class?" I requested." You seem tense" yeah you're right. Sweeti- I mean Ignis, help me out with this chapter, I don't feel too joyful. Well that confirms it." YOU ARE HER DAUGHTER!!?" The class said in unison like a cliche anime. "Well yes" Ignis said timidly. And starts writing on the board.
The day ends without total school ahnialation but I still let Mr. Sygnus die. Wait. Or did he? I rush to the supply room and opened it to find an empty ceiling. Mr. Sygnus might be alive but he is definitely missing. He is the one that closes the supply room before closing and it was unlocked. He is never that sloppy, even with family Emergencies. He would at least give it to Principal Faranheaden. It looks like I'm going home late today so I'm not going to write an entry. I'll just record it and sleep.
