Chapter 10 : the blood

Ms. Arachna POV.

"Hey, boneless, tell me you found the kid already." I demanded." It's nightfall, and yes, I have. There was a huge wave of energy that burst from the school and we were able to pinpoint who it is. I think it's someone you know." He replied. He showed me a picture of one of my 'favourite' student. That brat!! I knew he was too smart for his own good! "Ha! The look on your face is priceless!" Nightfall snorted." Whatever, why not tell me at school? It'd be much easier and there are definitely other organisations going for him." I retorted." Because you AREN'T going. You are WAY too loud in the first place and the only reason we let you get involved in this mission is because Ignis wouldn't go with anyone else." He explained. "FINE. Can I at least have my snack?" I requested." The old man? Yeah sure, he doesn't matter." He allowed." Huh?"" What's wrong nightfall?" A figure appeared from a separate room.

Ignis POV

Oh shoot oh shoot oh shoot oh shoot!!!
I'm supposed to sneak drugs in his food! But it's Allen! Allen!! He's the only person who realised how I don't like talking and So doesn't talk to me (false). They said that mom is waiting for me at extraction but I'm not sure if I can do it myself. She sulked. Then slapped her cheeks. NO! I can do this! Then maybe Mom would be proud of me. Either way, if it goes south, there are still reinforcements in the school. I was determined to succeed to earn the trust of my mother that maybe if I could succeed alone she would be proud. I never thought for myself, my mother always knew best. She saved me from being alone, so I was greatful. There is no way i could let what i think of Allen obstruct the mission. This time she'll be proud. I walked into the canteen and looked for Allen. He sat with his usual group. He had a full plate of food. It was strange because his friends were almost finished. I sat beside Allen and tried entering the conversation." -m saying is that I soloed the troll king so I should get all the loot!" Janice insisted." That would be the case IF, we didn't use support magic the whole fight because you got our weapons stolen." William argued." Yeah but STILL!' Janice pleaded." No! We split it and we'll deduct some from you for the armour and weapons!" William punished." You really get along well don't you?" I giggled." Oh, Ignis, what's up?" Allen asked." I have some sweets I want you guys to try, it's real nice." I smiled." Yeah, sure," Janice agreed." Ok," William reached out his hand. I handed them some sweets and gave Allen the drug mixed with some flavour. The two of them ate them without question, but Allen seemed sceptical. "What's wrong Allen?" Janice asked. He leaned forward and all of us leaned to listen." I know you're here to kidnap me." I was stunned, he shouldn't be able to grasp his power this early." Don't worry, as long as you come with me and the lady in the ceiling, we'll be fine." He whispered. Backup! I have to call for backup! I reached into my pocket and Allen grabbed my hand. I started shaking." Calm down. Everything's fine. Doing this will cause." I didn't listen to his sentence and used an emergency beacon they given me. 3 brick walls that we would normally call people mowed into the canteen and tried to tackle Allen. He in turn hopped on the table, crashing the food trays onto the floor. They quickly recovered and surrounded him. Grabbing electrified batons from their militia vest and was ready to taze him." Wait, don't hurt him!' I pleaded. Before they could act, a second group of people shot the previous assailants and made their stiff body into a limp mess, riddling them with bullets from a window outside. The window broke, leaving a shining mess." Come with me kid. We won't hurt you if you don't fight it." One of them calmly said." Sorry bud, no can do." Allen replied. I couldn't let them take him, not only because it's my assignment, but because he is my friend! I stood in front of him, shielding him from them." Leave him alone!" I demanded." SHUT up brat! We don't need you ali-" one of the soldiers shouted." Enough!" The third ordered." Listen, we want to do this with little casualties and this doesn't mean that we won't hurt you." The second guys suddenly lunged forward into a table, knocking himself out. Everyone was confused and before the other two could react, the first guy's head suddenly shifted as if he was punched in the jaw and also collapsed. The third guy shuddered, waving his gun around." Where are you!? Show yourself!" He commanded." Ok." A female voice replied. She then appeared from thin air. The man, scared and tensed, attempted to shoot at her but she was too quick. She knocked his gun out of his hand and tried to knock him out with a punch to the jaw. He blocked her punch and then proceeded to engage in hand-to-hand combat. What am I doing?! They have the same target and I'm just sitting here. I have to do something. I sprayed them with lava between their bickering. The woman dodged in time but the man wasn't so lucky. He was doused with lava and began to melt. His skin,muscles and organs melted away, leaving a half melted skeleton laying on the floor. Everyone cried out in terror. In a panic, they rushed out of the door. Explosions rung from the hallway. Followed by panicked students running back into the canteen." Alright you lot!" A skinny man wearing a mask stormed." We're looking for a kid, you find him, you live. His name is Allen Franco." People looked directly at Allen. The skinny guy let out an evil laugh." I wonder how many of them were your friend, anyway grab him for me."" Oh no you don't." The woman screamed." A buff tank of a man burst into the room. He shot water in the room,FROM HIS HANDS, pushing him out of the room." Help is here!" He stood heroically at the doorway. I thought we were the only powered group that knew about him. Dang it!

Author here. This chapter was getting a lot longer than my usual chapters so I'm cutting it off at a spot I think is appropriate. Not sure when I'll post again too.
