Chapter 19

My phone vibrated on my side table waking me up. I rolled off my bed grabbed my phone and opened the new message

Queen Cat.xx

Meet me at my house @ 6. We need to talk! ASAP

My phone went off again

Queen Cat.xx

And wear something cute you won't regret it.xx

I got up and looked at the clock. It was 8. Poo I have work at 9 I'm kinda glad today is the last day.

After I took a shower and got dressed I went to work. When I got there, there were balloons and a sign that said 'last day' on it hung across the front of the store. I walked in and saw my boss, Dave.

"just in time" he said jumping off a chair"I'm glad you came we might have a lot more customers today, I can really use the help"

"well it is my job" I said

"I just hate to see this place go" he said looking around " well I have to take care of some papers see you soon" than he walked out

I looked around and saw Dave cleaned the tables and put out new toppings so I had nothing to do. I sat behind the counter and fooled around with my phone for like half and hour no one really has Fro-yo this early.

"Heyheyhey" Nicole said walking in " I thought I would keep you company"

"hey thanks I'm so bored" I said

"yeah I thought you would be" she said grabbing a cup and filling it with vanilla Fro-yo

"have you talked to Cat lately" I asked sitting up straighter

"no she's been MIA all week, it's weird" she said walking to get toppings

"well when we were at the beach and you were in the shower I called her" I said playing with my fingers

"did she answer?"

"yeah and she said she couldn't talk but I heard a familiar manly voice in the background"

"might be Tom"

"it can't he had a accent but I didn't make much of it so I called Niall to see how he is feeling and he said that he couldn't talk and before he hung up I heard him say Cats name"

"no fudging way! Do you think they're seeing each other?"

"I don't know I thought she liked Liam cause he loves toy story and they could be twins"

"so be all lovey with Liam infront of her"

"no I can't play Liam like that, plus he is more of a friend to me" I said before Terence walked through the door

"hey nicole hey marie,you work here" he said

"yeah but not for long" I said

"yeah sucks they have to close" he said

"well I have to go get more toppings I'll be right back" I said jumping off my seat

"I'll help" Nicole said following me into the back"what the hell was that!"

"why are you avoiding him?"

"I'm not avoiding him"

"what ever lets go" I said grabbing a box of cookie dough "you eat too much cookie dough"

Terence payed for the Fro-yo and left

"he loves you" Nicole said sitting next to the cash register

"no but anyway Cat texted me his morning asking me to meet her tonight cause we need to talk I can't help but think its about Niall" I said

"aww Marie I see they way he looks at you I think he might like you I mean he doesn't look at anyone else that way. And Louis even told you Niall fancies you" she said fancies all weird

"well I have to go get ready for my date with harry I'll text you later" Nicole said

I left work around 4:30 and went home to get ready for whatever Cat has in store for me

I put on the coral button up shirt and black gold button shorts me and Niall got and some flip flops with my pink ray-bans.

"wow you look fancy where are you going" Sean said when I walked down the stairs

"Cats" I said grabbing my phone

"I'm going to Jill's need a ride"

"if you don't mind"

"let's go" he said grabbing chips and his keys

Sean dropped me off and I walked to the door. I was going to just walk in like usual but for some reason I just knocked

"did you just knock" Mrs.Daley said opening the door

"yeah haha weird" I said

"well come on in Cat is in the backyard"

"okay thank you Mrs.Daley" I said walking towards the back of her house

"Marie what are you doing here" Tom said

"honestly I don't know" I said leaning against the door frame

"well don't be shy come sit" he said patting a chair "you have been acting weird lately what's up"

"I don't I guess I'm just tired with work and staying up hanging with the boys"

"well you can come hang with me anytime I'm never busy"

"I'm sure you have loads of girls lining up to get their slutty hands on a piece of Tom Daley"

"yeah but I don't like them they don't wanna just hang like friends you are much more fun" he said placing his hand on my leg

"w-well I should get going I'm late" I said standing up

"Cats right out there" he said walking out of the room

"thanks" I said as I made my way to the door. Right before I can open it Cat opens it

"hey sexy you look perfect" Cat says

"Cat can I ask you something" I asked not wanting to talk about anything else

"yeah what's up"

"are you seeing Niall"

"hahaha are you kidding me no"

"then why didn't you tell me you were with him when we talked in the phone"

"oh just come with me" she said and grabbed my hand and pulled me outside. But her backyard didn't look like her backyard. There were christmas lights hanging and candles everywhere and flowers that all surrounded a table. Than out of nowhere Niall comes out, wearing a white dress shirt and knaki shorts.
