Sorry I haven't updated in so long!!!! I'm back though. Here's chapter three

{Dani}
Me and Daryl walked up the path back to camp. When he got there I walked up to Rick and told him how the talk went and what our idea was. I was shocked at Rick's reaction.

I thought he would have said "No way! We can't risk that for HIM", but he didn't. He pretty much said the opposite.
"That's actually a really good idea. We need to go back to Atlanta," he said. I gave him a puzzled look.
"See, I had a pack of guns that I got from the station. I got everything left. But I dropped it when I ran to that building you guys were holed up in. I need to go back for it,"
I looked at the ground then back up at him.
"How much is a lot?"
He laughed lightly. "It's a LOT of things. Handguns, shotguns, ammo, I think some grenades. Automatic guns. We need that stuff if these people are gonna survive out here, Dani,"
I nodded. "Sounds like a plan, then,"
"There's just one thing. We need more people to agree to this. You and Daryl an I can't just go to Atlanta with nothing and expect to be ok. There are to many walkers. We need more people, a vehicle, and weapons. And I need you to help me convince them," Rick said.
I nodded. He started walking towards the group. I followed him.

I stayed quiet while he told them the plan. The reaction that we got was just what I expected.
"Hell no!!!" Shane yelled.
Rick looked angry. "Shane, we need-"
"We need you to stay here! more walkers are gonna be coming up here soon more than likely and we need as much fire power up here as we can get!"
"Ma brother is still out there on that roof!"
Daryl's voice startled me. I didn't even realize he was there until just then. I jumped slightly, turned around, and glared at him.

He just smirked back. I turned back around.
"I really don't care! your brother is the biggest douchebag on the face of the earth and doesn't even deserve to be saved!" Shane yelled at Daryl. Daryl charged at Shane, but I stepped in front of him.
"Stop!" I yelled at them. "Both of you! you're acting like children! like spoiled brats who aren't getting their way!"
I turned around and stared at Shane.
"Help or no help, me and Daryl are going back to Atlanta to get his brother, then if we have time we'll get the guns. You have 30 minutes to decide what you will do, then we're gone,"
I walked towards the woods. I figured I would just walk and let myself think for a little bit. That didn't last long, of course.

I heard running behind me. I turned around to see the opposite of what I expected. Daryl. He had he crossbow in his hand, as usual. He stopped running when he was beside me.
"I'm gonna walk with you," he said. I just nodded and continued walking.

When we were a little ways in the woods he broke the silence.
"Thank you,"
I nodded. "No problem,"
"Look, I'm sorry I was such an asshole. Y'know, before,"
I nodded again. "It's fine,"
After that we just walked. The silence was nice.
Being with him is nice
No! I yelled at myself. I can't like him!

No. I can't like him. I can't get feelings for him. I've already lost so much.

I can't loose anything else
