Dear Daddy,
It had been two years without you. I'm doing okay. I guess... Mom gets on my nerves...a lot. It's like I can't do anything right anymore. She is always telling me I need to talk to someone. Well writing to you is my therapy. I don't need to talk to any stranger about all my problems. It's just... weird. Like, "Hi! I'm Blah Blah and I want to know what is wrong with you." Um... no thanks. I'm good.
Well, I really miss you. Well, let's not talk about that. Um, still haven't found the right guy. It's funny how I would've NEVER talked to you about this if you were here with me. But, I hope he comes along soon. I've waited so long to actually develop a real crush. Guys just aren't that nice. I bet you're happy that I haven't gotten a boyfriend. Every Dad loves that. Well, I better go to school now. I love to more! Bye!!-Kylie<3

"Okay, now that I've talked to Dad, I should get ready." I say to myself as I jump out of bed.I slip on my usual black vans and jeans. I put on my favorite t-shirt and head to the bathroom. As I'm applying my mascara, my mom yells up to me,
"Kylie! You awake?"
"Yes mom."
"Hurry up if you want Starbucks."
"Um, okay?"
I put on my necklace and perfume and head downstairs. I find a bowl of Reese's Puffs cereal on the counter.
"Thanks for the breakfast mom."
"No problem. It's 7:00 now, are you almost ready?"
"Yeah, after I eat this."

After I get to school with my delicious Double Chocolatey Chip Frappe, I head to my locker. Next stop, AP science. I think to myself as I grab my books. I walk into the room, set my
books down, and head to my friend, Sarah's locker."Hey Sarah!" I say to her, smiling.
"Morning," she replies. She isn't very cheerful in the mornings. Kinda grumpy actually.
"People annoy me," I say to her and she gets her books. "Why do they think people want to see them making out in the middle of the hallway? It's disgusting."
"You only say that because you've never dated not kissed a guy."
"Well neither have you."
"I know but if you were in love you wouldn't care."
"Sarah,"
"Mmhmm,"
"They aren't in love. It's Alex and some blonde bimbo."
"Well then there is that."
I chuckle. "He has probably been with every girl in the school. Well, besides us of course. It's really kind of sick.'
"I know," Sarah says. "He needs to learn his lesson."
"Yeah. You know, if he weren't a jerk, I might have a crush on him."
"I wouldn't. I don't think he'll ever change."
"But if he was nice, would you consider it?"
"Maybe."
"Well, I better head to class see you later."
"Kk. Bye."
I turn around and start heading towards class just as Alex does and he trips me and I catch myself just as my face is about the hit the ground. The save didn't work for long when Alex lands on my back and pushes the air out of me.
He gets up and looks at me. "Sorry. Didn't see you there." he says.
"It's...f-fine"
"Are you okay?" he asks, even though it looked like he didn't care.
"Yep." I say and start walking away.
"Wait!" He yells after me.I turn around and he catches up. "What's your name?"
"I'm Kylie,"
"Well Kylie, call me sometime." Oh. My. Gosh. He didn't. I look at at him weird and he smirks. I roll my eyes and just hurry up to my science class.

One more minute. One more until the bell rings to release me to seventh period. Can't wait. Algebra 2 is all review right now and I'm bored.Bringgg.
Finally. I think as I head out of class. I get my English and Writing books for seventh and eighth period. I walk into class and see Alex. Crap. I forgot he's in here. Ugh. I don't want to deal with him.
"Okay class," Ms. Hanglar says. "Today we will be working on a project. I will assign you a partner and topic. We will work on this for the rest of the day. Here are the groups:
Elizabeth and Jacob
Maddi and Josh
Elijah and Haley
Alex and Kylie-"And that's were I zoned out. Why? Why of all people do I have to be with Alex. I look over at him and he just smirks. Oh God.
"Okay. You guys get together and one of you come up to get your topic." He walks over and sits in front of me.
"I'll get the topic." I walk up to Ms. Hanglar and she gives me a piece if paper that says Walt Disney.
I walk back over to my desk and Parker is staring at a cheerleaders butt.
"Hey Alex. Focus." I say to him.
"Hmm? Oh sorry." He looked at me. "What's the topic?"
"Walt Disney."
"That weirdo?"
"Yes, that 'weirdo'. He was a really smart guy and he was very talented. He came up with characters like Mickey Mouse a while ago and they are still popular."
"Well aren't you smart."
"Yup."
