Once we arrived at the hotel my papa T got out of the car to go check in. Nana and I stayed in the car and just talked about random things like how are they adjusting to Alabama or how are the cats. Then I remembered we were watching a show that we never finished. She only had two episodes left so I told her I was going to make her watch it while she was in town. After a few minutes, my papa T came back with the hotel key and we pulled around the back because he said it was closer to our room, so we got our stuff and headed up to our room. When we got to our room I set my stuff down and jumped on my bed and laid there for a few minutes thinking about mom and stuff. I also thought about how it would be good to be with my grandparents to clear my head. For a while, I was just on my phone. I got my pajamas on and all that stuff then I asked my nana if she wanted to come to the candy shop downstairs with me she said it was fine, but we needed to get the money first. So we got some money and headed downstairs, When we got to the shop, there were so much food and candy, we practically bought the whole shop out. Then we finished one of the episodes of our show and went to bed. The next day I woke up in between seven and eight. My grandparents were already packing to go back. I didn't want them to but I knew they had to. After I opened my eyes and processed what was going on I grabbed some clothes and went to take a shower. When I got out my papa T took a shower. While he was in the shower I got a call from my Mimi she was asking me how I was and were I was and all that then we started talking about my mom she said she was hooked to a bunch of machines and she was moved to Kennestone hospital then she said she had to go cause the nurse just came in. When we hung up, I was a little nervous about my mom but I was glad she was at a good hospital. As soon as I got off the phone my grandma asked me how my mom was so I told her everything my Mimi told me to catch her up. Right after my papa T got out of the shower we got ready, grabbed our stuff, and checked out to go back to my dads. The car ride was normal we just talked about Alabama and went to get Burger King. Then we got to my dad's and I just set my stuff down. We all talked for a little while then it was time for my grandparents to go back to Alabama. I was sad they had to leave but I was glad that I got to see them, so we said our goodbyes and I went back inside. The rest of the day was normal I watched tv, played on my phone, took a shower, then went to bed. The next day I called my Mimi and she said Mom was doing better. I was glad. I asked her if I could talk to her, but she told me she was in a drug-induced coma she had forgotten to tell me yesterday. I had no idea what a drug-induced coma was but it sounded serious. So I asked her what it was, she told me it was an intentional coma I was still worried and I didn't know why she needed to be in a drug-induced coma but I didn't want to ask Mimi to many questions because I knew she already had a lot on her mind. We just talked for a few minutes then she had to go. Most of the day was me being on my phone, watching youtube, playing games, watching tv, and playing with our friends' dog. A few hours past and then my grandpa called me to check on me and all that. Then I asked him how mom was he was telling me she was better, but she was still hooked up to a lot of machines, and she has an oxygen tube. Then he started saying something about her heart and kidneys. Then I stopped him in the middle of his sentence I was like "What do you mean kidneys?" He said her kidneys were failing and she was on this thing called an ECMO machine that pumps blood, since her heart was too weak, and it also gave her oxygen which meant she wasn't alive on her own. She had machines to keep her alive. She was on life support and I didn't know.
