These are the thoughts of Lily Potter nee Evans as she watches her daughter sleeping in her crib. Just a few hours early Dumbledore told her and James that a prophecy was told about Harriet and Voldemort saying that she was the only one able to defeat him and that Voldemort was going to come after them. He then moved them to a little cottage in Godrick's hollow and cast the fidelus charm. Now Lily might have believed Dumbledore, if she didn't see the dark glint in Dumbledore's eyes and the carefully concealed joy in his voice. There was also the fact that he had been coming over frequently since Harriet's birth and was constantly manipulating things so he could be alone with her. 'Enough is enough' Lily thought as she wrote a letter to the Potter's account manager booking a meeting the next day.
Next Day:
"Griphook, may your vaults fill and your enemies blood splatter." Lily said while Harriet was sleeping in her arms. "Lady Potter, you've been practicing." The goblin said with a faint smirk. "Let's head straight to the ritual chamber for the tests shall we. It's safer than the office." He said leading her away.

Time skip
When she got home that night after the ritual, she looked at the test papers again in shock at how someone could do so much to a baby.

"Ask for help and it shall arrive dearie." A voice spoke from by the window. Lily jumps up and points her wand just to find no one there.
"There's no need for violence dearie." The voice spoke again from behind her. She spun around to find a man sitting in the chair behind her.
(He looks like Mr Gold instead of Rumple. It will be explained later.)
"Who are you? What do you want?" She said in fear of the man able to get in the cottage without knowing the secret. "I am Rumpelstiltskin," He said while bowing in an odd way. "And I want to make a deal."
